just all around horrible. he failed to do proper testing on me & didn’t listen to any of my concerns. I noticed I was getting a lot of swelling & he brushed it off. At 8 months I lost my baby and then he diagnosed me with preeclampsia WHILE i was in the hospital.. if he would have jus done his job the RIGHT way like he was supposed to my son would still be here with me today . he was also very rude to my nurses during my delivery. overall he’s not someone i recommend if you value your life or your child’s life .

This is the worst doctor and doctors office I have ever dealt with.. the women that work in this office are the rudest staff I have ever dealt with.. I had to schedule my own diagnostic testing and had to get the St. Tammany diagnostics office to call Dr Striplins office to get my test done.. absolutely unprofessional office.. Dr. Striplin is no better, always in rush, doesn’t answer your questions, and honestly I don’t think listens to one word u say…

Don't bother, doesn't listen to your concerns and treats the appointment like a fast food place, in and out. Doesn't take time, when you try to speak he cuts you off and talks over you. Got annoyed with me wanting to look at other bc options as my body develops chorea from estrogen. Went in with papers from the er and tried telling him what they said and I got cut off and told they didn't know what they were talking about and that his ultrasound tech was "the best". When I gained weight from the depo shot (30+ lbs) I was told birth control doesn't make you gain weight and that I can't control my portion intake (diet never changed). Went back after being off depo (again no diet change) had dropped back to my original weight and he made the comment "looks like you learned to portion yourself". Worst gyno I ever went to. If you don't mind the sarcasm, getting cut off, not listened to, and having a very rushed appointment then by all means go.

the worst doctor st tammany will ever encounter. i don’t know how he still has his license. he missed every step a GOOD OB would take. tests and etc. don’t let this doctor touch u if you know what’s in ur best interest. don’t suffer consequences for ur babies bc he can’t do his job right.

Dr.Striplin has been my OB/GYN since I was 16 years old, Im 41 now.. Delivered both my kids, He is the best OB/GYN and I have referred several people to him that have all said the same thing about him being such a great doctor. Scott is educated and knows his field inside and out. He is to the point, but will take as much time as needed to make sure you have every question answered. I would not trust anyone else as I trust him. HE GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND to take care of his patients, staff and anyone that needs his assistance. Go see him and you will see how awesome he is!

Went to the ER because I had light brown bleeding during early pregnancy my baby was ok I was high risk and had a subchronic bleed. Then it got worse and red so I scheduled and appointment with dr Scott striplin He didn’t do an ultrasound or try to listen or see my baby’s heartbeat. He did a PAP while I was bleeding and miscarrying my baby. If I didn’t go to the ER AGAIN I wouldn’t have known that my baby was gone. He also would not listen to my concerns and speak over me. The 2 times I went to him he was always rushing trying to get me out of there.

Yes he is in a hurry 99% of the time, but he is an excellent doctor. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. He was a absolutely amazing doctor during my daughters entire pregnancy and her delivery.

Absolutely horrible doctor. I would never recommend him to my worst enemy. Does not care about his patients at all. Makes up stuff to put on charts when he nor his staff never even done what they claimed. He is extremely rude and doesn't care about what you nor your spouse want for your pregnancy. Cuts you off when you go to talk and Will not let you ask questions nor voice your opinion on what you want to do or what you want to happen. He needs to quit and move to Mexico.

I hate having to wait to see the doctor but he is amazing !!!! He is one of the best doctor's around. I highly recommend him!!!!! He cares about his patients and he is very friendly! Just be ready to wait.
