I thank God for Dr. Seth Hayes and his amazing talent as a surgeon. I was bed redden for 28 days in the most horrendous pain. My family arranged to get me to Dr. Seth Hayes as he was highly recommended by a friend whom Dr. Hayes had performed back surgery on. Dr. Hayes showed us my MRI and CAT scan explaining the herniated disc in my back at L3/L4. By the end of the visit I felt I finally had hope. In our first meeting he said the goal was that I would be able to walk the day of my surgery. Miraculously that is exactly what happened and I cried tears of joy because I was also pain free. I pray that God will continue to bless Dr. Seth Hayes as he so humbly performs this miraculous work. Llewellyn Bowen

I had bad car accident April 24th,2021. I had lumbar fusion surgery done back in 1984 due to an accident which impacted spondylitis.. jump to 2021 the fusion has worn out / deteriorated and I couldn’t stand or walk without severe pain. Dr. Hayes did an 21st century technic compared to the ‘84 fusion.. an ALIF. It was successful and at age 65 I have a second chance at an pain free life.

Dr. Hayes and his entire team are wonderful. This is the absolute BEST place to be a patient. They are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. In an often frustrating healthcare world, Ochsner’s and Dr. Hayes and his team are truly a breath of fresh air.

My own experiences is I would not let other doctor cut on me. Just went thru a major back surgery. Fusion, rods, and what ever else I needed.

Dr. Hayes is the best Neurosurgeon in every aspect. He took time to explain everything prior and after my intensive lumbar back surgery. Having nerve damage and decompression of discs Dr. Hayes surgical procedure included spacers, rods, screws and fusions in lower lumbar with outstanding results. Having a lumbar laminectomy and receiving injections over the last 10 years to tolerate, Dr. Hayes surgical procedure has left me feeling better then I have felt in all that time. I am only post surgery 8 weeks and looking forward to living my life pain free. Thank you for being the qualified doctor you are and the wonderful staff you have for making this possible. Anyone skeptical of having back surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Hayes and his staff to ease this procedure, however, remember you can only recover completely as long as you follow his aftercare instructions. Thank you and your staff again for a wonderful experience!
