Umesh A. Patel's Online Review Report Card

For my initial consultation, Dr. Patel’s first available was ~4 months away, but I was assured he was the one to see for my condition. About 2 weeks before my appointment, a nurse called and asked if it would be ok for me to show up ~2 hours past my appointment time as he is very thorough with his patients. I obliged, and am extremely happy I did so. At no point during my consultation did anything feel rushed at all. He is all ears while simultaneously taking notes and forming answers or follow up questions for the conversation. He is a very soothing man and his affect wears off on you. This takes away any pressure you may feel by a typical physician to get you in and out in a hurry, which aided in me remembering to ask some specific questions and eased the relationship into a positive experience. I believe I got nearly 60 minutes of facetime with him, which is impressive for someone who knows his specialty so very well and is in such demand!

Umesh A. Patel, MD LLC was absolutely hands down the most amazing physician I have ever been in front of, and that’s saying a lot considering the amount of doctors I’ve seen trying to figure this all out! I left his office in tears, HAPPY TEARS, I was so relieved to be heard, to hear he will help, to put names to what makes me feel like I do, to hear my heart issues explained and to know I’m finally going to be treated. He’s also going to take over my pacemaker work! Today was a good day. I’m so grateful for this man and his staff!

Do physicians exist who keep the patient's needs first and foremost? This was the question on my mind daily. I had lost all hope. I had run out of options. I was doomed to suffer endlessly in constant pain, physical and mental distress. Once I met Dr. Patel I learned the answer to my question. Yes, yes, yes; honestly, there is a physician who practices to put me first and with each physician I see and treatment I complete through Dr. Patel’s gentle guidance through this journey my hope is restored. Honestly!

Dr.Patel Is simply amazing, it's such a joy to have found a doctor who truly looked at the whole picture and LISTENED. He had such empathy for all I have gone through and truly cares about getting me better. I feel so blessed that someone saw me struggling and knew how amazing he was and recommended him to me. Truly can not say enough good things about Dr.patel. He spent such a long time explaining my diagnosis to me and even called in my fiance and son to explain it to them. Amazing doctor. He also has a wonderful nurse.

I usually leave doctors crying, I am dismissed, told I'm a women it's just stress maybe you should exercise. Dr Patel is the best physician I’ve ever had care for me. I have multiple issues with my heart (heart disease, angina, afib, etc..) and had a heart attack back in 2015. He’s saved my life with his knowledge, tests, correct medications and as well as direction and compassion. I strongly recommend Dr Patel to family and friends.

I highly recommend Dr. Patel. He is an amazing cardiologist! He is exceptionally thorough during his visits, he is very easy to talk to, and he considers his patients partners in their healthcare. His nurses are wonderful also. Another thing that sets him apart is his follow-up care. This is a rare thing to find! I consider myself lucky to be under his care.

I feel blessed to have such a caring doctor! He really listens to every problem! Thank God for Dr Patel??

My husband is a patient of Dr. Patel and I was recently in need of a cardiologist too and I requested Dr Umesh Patel because he is very knowledgable, caring and takes the time to actually listen and talk to his patients (hence the long wait time in his office).

I would absolutely recommend him to anyone!! I had a telehealth visit with him in January and had just gotten 3 new diagnoses in a short period of time and was referred to him for Dysautonomia/POTS. I did not know why I was so sick and he explained everything very precisely to me and surprised me with the fact that he knew all about the other diseases I was diagnosed with. He was very patient and spent a great deal of time explaining to me why I was so sick and what he could do. He singlehandedly helped with my anxiety about most of what was going on better than the other physicians I had seen about my other diagnoses. He immediately sent all of the information I needed through the portal and via email so I could start following his orders to get better. My tests were all scheduled by his office pretty close to one another and in a timely fashion. I am much better and on my way to improving more with his assistance. I was lucky to be referred. He has been a LIFESAVER!
