List of Durwin D. Walker Md's Reviews
I absolutely love Dr. Durwin Walker how just say I’m in my 60s. And he’s the first doctor that I’ve came across in my whole lifetime that’s actually sat down and talked to me about my medical issues and not stared in the computer the whole time while I’m talking. He is very thorough with what your problems or. I think he’s a wonderful doctor ..
He treated me at a rehab would not recommend an animal see this dr. Very unprofessional changed all my meds from the hospital I attended before the rehab had to be transferred to another hospital to heal completely. Every day He would tell me if I left the rehab I would die.
I do believe this is the first doctor that I have ever talk to that truly listened and understood and managed me like a patient should. I’m due to See him for my first personal visit. And now I know they won’t be no anxiousness and nervousness and reservations about going to see a new doctor. I’ve talk to him over the phone and he is just simply wonderful. And I don’t have health insurance right now and he’s only charging me $25 during the pandemic. Who does that? Dr. Durian Walker. he’s awesome
Originally left 5 stars after the first visit in 1/2018. I guess first appointments are to make a good impression then its on to the real thing. Subsequent visits I never felt I had answers to my questions or that I was being cared for. It seemed like he was on a mission to get in and out as quickly as possible. Questions never got answered. ”We’ll get back to that” but we never did. And the front staff, horrible, especially Debbie. His response ”i don't want to hear it.” Office manager lies
I've seen Dr Walker go from caring and interested in his patients to just going thru the motions. It seems he isn't interested or care about his patient anymore and doesnt care the way his staff treats his patients. This is sad bc I thought I had a good doctor and would finish out my life with him and his son caring for me. Honestly I think he needs to be checked out himself. I have noticed his personal appearance and hygiene go down. The last couple if times his shirt was frayed, stained and discolored. I know he can afford to dress appropriate. I have to wonder if he is getting sick himself. I am actively looking for another doctor for myself and husband. Last visit really concerned me due to the way I was treated (badly) by staff and uncaring by him.
Dr Walker has been my husband and my primary doctor for a year. His is nurse is wonderful and I feel any conversation I have with her is listened to and directed to Dr Walker in a timely manner. Dr Walkr himself has been a good doctor but it's his staff that makes a difficult appointment. The office manager told me a straight up lie. Told me I could not bring a bottle of water in because OSHA said so. Little did she know I use to work at OSHA and their rules are for employees not patients. Also there are no laws for bidding taking a drink into a doctors office. I called to make sure. OSHA just laughed. Bad lie lady (Tiffany I think is her name) If it is office rule that's fine. Just post it at the desk and be nice about informing people. Debbie is at the front desk and I don't think she has ever been nice to me or even smiled. I can tell you about a mother that put their kindergarten student on the bus the first day of school. Scandelous and bad mothering. I can tell you about the lady in the store cutting in line or I can tell you about bad service at Mc Donalds. I can tell you these things because I had to stand and listen to her fuss with other employees while I am waiting for her to acknowledge me and check me in. I can also tell you how she was demanding co-payment when I have 2 insurance policies and don't have co-pays. I can also tell you when she did figure it out she didn't say "Im sorry for the inconvenience " she just threw her hand around and told me to go sit down. I have spoken to other patients who have similar stories and complaints about Debbie. I have tried to address these complaints with the office manager and have gotten no where or just lied to. Make a it very difficult to see a doctor when you see him for 5 - 10 minutes but have to go thru an hour of BS by bad employees. I want to say again that his nurse is a different story and is very pleasant and knowledgable. If I could skip and just see her and Dr Walker it would be nice
Dr Durwin Walker is so personable & truly listens; his advice, concern and bedside manner is difficult to find these days!
Love Dr D!
I was trying to schedule an appointment for my husband. The lady Rene' hung up on me for no reason. She was rude to me because I didn't understand the question she asked me and when I tried to clarify, she simply hung up on me. guess they wont be getting our business anymore.
This office will nickel and dime you every visit. Went for a annual wellness which is covered 100%. Dr simply continued a previous visits prescription and just like that I was charged for an office visit. Basically if you speak or answer a question it becomes an office visit. No way to treat regular patients, which I am not any longer.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
