At 73 y/o I've been to several cardiologists and countless other doctors, but I have to honestly say, Dr. Hathorn is not only the best Cardiologist I've seen, he is probably the best doctor in any field that I've been treated by. He is very easy to talk to, down-to-earth, makes extra effort to explain your diagnosis without "talking down" to you, and is extremely knowledgable in his field. Most importantly, he takes his time with you and doesn't "rush out the door" when your 10 minutes is up! I feel so blessed to know I can count on the medical care he provides!

Dr. Hathorn is a highly skilled and professionally trained physician but has a lot of heart for his patients. He saved my dad’s life and has taken the best care of his heart for many years!! I find Dr. Hawthorn to be direct, very intelligent, kind, supportive, listens carefully, addresses my care promptly and thoroughly. He often provides results to my tests the same day. I feel very confident in his abilities and have trust in him to provide the care I need.

Having known Dr. Hathorn since high school, I already knew what an amazing person he was. When I moved back to Baton Rouge almost 2 years ago I already knew he was going to be my cardiologist.
