Dawn Baker Sharp Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Sharp was wonderful with my 87 year old mother, very patient and understanding. She was the same way with me when I saw her. I would definitely recommend her.

All three of my children have seen Dr. Sharp on various occasions and she has been fantastic with all of them. I am grateful to have a physician who genuinely cares about meeting the needs of people in her community. Would highly recommend her to anyone!

I felt the need to write a comment after seeing horrible comments regarding Dr. Sharp. It is a true shame that physicians are bound by HIPPA law but patients can do and say whatever they want. Dr. Sharp is a great doctor and even better person. I trust her judgement and know that if something is out of her hands, she is honest. She has seen me and my family and has taken great care of us.

I saw Dawn Sharp, MD after being assaulted and suffering cartilaginous fractures. During the first appointment Sharp was very sympathetic of my situation but when I came for a follow up appointment I realized that the initial diagnoses that she made was no longer on my file. I asked her what happened to it and why it was removed and she stated that she "does not get involved in any legal issue" and will not document my injuries. In the course of the criminal investigation she stated to the cop that I do not have any injuries at all (even though she could clearly see it, extensively commented on it, and my injuries were obvious and were confirmed by other doctors I saw). When I requested my medical records, she would not give it to me until an official letter was sent that, as per regulations that govern physicians, if won't release the records immediately, will be responsible for attorney fees and the cost of proceedings to get those records. When I finally got the records, I found that none of my injuries were documented, not even as obvious as bruises, swelling, and fractures; instead, she attempted to damage my credibility by writing some unrelated nonsense. Her moral qualities are definitely questionable since she did not hesitate to commit perjury and falsify medical records to ensure that she will not be inconvenienced by a request to testify in any legal proceeding.

Sloppy quack! Most terrible experience. Should not be allowed to practice medicine and harm people...

She falsified my medical records and committed obstruction of justice so that she will not have to ever testify. If you get seriously injured, she will tell you to go to a different doctor because she "won't document" your injuries for you.

I was battered and went to see her for my injuries. As soon as she found out that she might be asked to testify in a criminal case, she falsified the records and gave the police a false statement that did not match her assessment/diagnosis, just to ensure that she won't be contacted regarding it again. There are lots of terrible and shameless people. I sure would not recommend you to be treated by one of them.

I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to write one for Dr. Sharp. She is the BEST, most understanding, attentive, caring doctor I've ever met. Thank You!
