Dr. Wilks is an educated doctor but her bed side manor need serious help. During my sons visit I felt rushed and unheard about my questions and concerns i had about my child. She should work in the ER not at an office.

I went to Dr. Wilks my entire childhood, and if it was my choice, trust me I would have changed doctors in a heart beat. she never took my issues seriously. I always felt like she didn't care, I am now 22 years old and did my own research to find me a PCP whom I love. please do your research before choosing this doctor, there are plenty of great ones out there! especially at the Baton Rouge Clinic!

my wife and i expressed several concerns to her about our son. She kept brushing them off over and over again saying he was fine. Our son was speech delayed, when she didn't help us at all, we took it upon ourselves to help him. I would not recommend seeing her. We felt our son’s issues did not get taken seriously.

After dealing with some exceptionally long waits at other ped offices we went here. Dr. Wilks is personally invested and it shows. And her affiliation with OLOL paid off big for us when our 7 week old came down with RSV. If your in the vicinity do yourself a favor and bring your kids to Wilks.

We love Dr Wilks and her staff! Down to earth, doesn't talk down to you or over your head. Always makes sure your kids get what they need done and in a timely manner.
