List of Tracy Pasqua Wallace Md's Reviews
I have four kids, I have used Dr. Tracy Wallace exclusively for the last 9 years. My oldest son has autism and doesn't do well with Dr's in general, but once in the room with her, he normally settles down pretty fast. She is the only Dr he trusts since I had surgery, he thinks Dr's are going to cut him like they did me. She is very patient with them all my kids. I will say the fact that she won't see them all in one day is very aggravating, but it is an understandable rule and only an inconvenience because we no longer live close to the office. She is passionate about her job, and is dedicated to her patients. She is very pro vaccine but she won't push them on you and if your child is honestly sick she won't give them any vaccines at all (teething is not a sickness, it's normal for babies). I am currently pregnant with my 5th child and she will be seeing this one as well. We all love Dr. Wallace and wouldn't trade to a different Dr. for anything
Went for our first visit today and cancelled before we could even be seen. Our initial appointment with Dr Wallace was supposed to be last week but they called and cancelled due to an “emergency” without even offering us a visit with another provider. I told the receptionist my daughter had a rash and needed to be seen and she told me “you should take her to an urgent care” which I’ve never experienced at a well run facility. My daughter ended up having double ear infections and hand, foot and mouth. While scheduling your appointment or sending all of the million “wear your mask” texts they do not tell new patients that you have to wait in your vehicles so they let you haul all of your baby stuff in only to tell you that you need to wait in your car. They did it to us and the family in front of us as well and who had a new born but they allowed a family of 3 to wait in their waiting room. After sending us out to our vehicles to “wait for clean rooms” for an hour, our baby needed a diaper change which is extremely hard to do in the car with a 9 month old. After one unpleasant experience after the next we just felt like we would be better off cancelling and taking the time to find a better facility where our baby will be cared for because they obviously do not care here and it’s very poorly run. If you’re coming here because it’s “local” and for convenience like we were thinking. Driving 25 minutes to Baton Rouge will still be quicker and they’ll be better cared for as well.
There are no words to express the horrible things that happened when we came in contact with this person. This person by far does not need to be around children.
I am writing this to help other children, it is too late for my grand daughters so I will just pray that parents do enough research before subjecting their children to this person.
Dr. Wllace is wonderful. She truly cares about the well being of your baby and children. She does not rush you out the door. She takes her time and make sure you are comfortable and understand all needs of your child. My son is 5 months old and she has been his pediatrician since he was born. Dr. Wllace will be the doctor for all of my future babies. My son loves her and I love her. She is so well with my son and he absolutely loves her. A mom just knows. As far as that review on how DR. wallace wanted to give someone's baby a vaccine when their baby was sick...that was not the case for us what so ever. She is not rude nor snobby. She is truly loving and caring. She would not recommend a vaccine if your baby is sick. Dr. Wallace is amazing and we definitely need more doctors and pediatricians like her.
Both of my children love Dr. Wallace! She's very kind and the staff are great also.
We love Dr Wallace. She is always caring and a great listener. I recommend her to anyone!
I have had nothing but positive experiences with my children when they see Dr Wallace. I highly recommend her.
This was our first—and our last time seeing dr. Wallace. When dr. Wallace walked in, she did not greet or acknowledge my child and hardly even myself, I had to be the one to throw out a handshake to introduce myself. She did not smile at myself or my son the entire visit. Now here’s the thing, let me begin by saying that I know pediatricians are probably overwhelmed and exhausted with the vaccine ordeal. Well, let me add that I am on their side— I believe the benefits far outweigh the risks and I want my child fully vaccinated. However, I am still a concerned parent and decided that I would be more comfortable with spacing them out (I understand it makes no difference, but it makes me feel comfortable). On this particular well visits (at 12months almost), I did not want him vaccinated because he is teething and had diarrhea the day prior. As a mother, I know my child is irritable right now and in a lot of pain (cutting two molars, teething some top teeth). I kindly explained to her that I didn’t want to vaccinate today because I just felt it would be a bit too much on his plate. The nurse was so kind and outgoing and made me feel just fine with my decision, dr. Wallace however, not so much. When I explained it to her, she rolled her eyes and in a very nasty way said “why not?” ok, that’s fine; it’s not WHAT you say it’s HOW you say it. When I explained, she gave me her opinion that “no, it wouldn’t be too much for him to handle.” Well, I disagreed because he is my child and I don’t want him to suffer anymore today or this week. To sum everything up, she did not say “hi”or ”bye” to my child, did not smile once, lacked passion and professionalism, and gave me a horrible attitude. I’ve probably only ever written two reviews, so no, I’m not an internet troll, just a parent who felt very bullied by this pediatrician and wouldn’t want any other parent to have the experience I did. I know reading this it seems harmless, but again, it’s not what you say it’s how you say it and I’ll never forget the grotesque way she said it. St. Elizabeth is better than this.
We’ve been seeing Dr. Wallace for over two years now. She is very helpful and extremely sweet and friendly. She actually listens to my concerns about my children, does what I ask, respects my concerns, and cares for my children’s well being. She does what she can for my kids to help them get better and always wants to check back up on them. She interacts with them and is very sweet to both of my children! We love going see her!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
