Dr. Summers is an amazing lady. Her skills as a Neurosurgeon are exceptional. Every surgery is potentially very dangerous. Especially when dealing with the spine. I felt confident with her every time that I had surgery because she explained everything thoroughly and I could somehow tell that I was in gifted hands. Her demeanor is very reassuring. The outcome was always good. I wouldn't choose any other neurosurgeon over her for a future back surgery that I will need. I probably need it now , however like I said every surgery is potentially very dangerous. I am much more concerned about going into a hospital since all of the covid insanity started. Dr. Summers is an excellent Neurosurgeon and I was blessed to find her.I've been a patient for about 10 years.I no longer need opiates for back pain. Thank goodness.I was prescribed opiates in Nashville for about 10 years.I have not been prescribed opiates for atleast 10 years now. I say that's a very successful surgery.

Dr. Summers did my surgeries, one in 2016 and the other just a few days ago. She is very thoughtful in her care of you. She was a second opinion, even though she was my 1st opinion, but, I was referred to another Dr at first whom I had no idea of, but after that meeting, I IMMEDIATELY called Dr. Summers and so glad I DID! You rock soldier girl❤️

I wish she could do surgery on herself so she could realize what she put many of her patients through. She doesn't care how your surgery turns out as long as she gets paid by your insurance prior to your surgery. She is a terrible person with horrible bedside manners. She almost killed me after she gave me a horrible infection in my spine. I have irrefutable proof of this matter. I would love her to "try" & dispute this!

Dr. Sommers did all but 1 of my surgeries and I could not ask for a doctor to be more attentive and caring for me. The hospital was amazing as well as all the staff members. I’m beyond grateful for Dr. Sommers!

Dr.Summers is brilliant and a very talented neurosurgeon. She is a regular person that treats everyone with dignity and respect. If I was in critical condition, I would want Dr.Summers as my surgeon. She has given me life again.

I went to see Dr. Laurie Summers for a second opinion regarding my back problem, she took the time to go over my records and listening to my concerns , Dr. Summers explain to me why I was on so much pain, taking the decision to do the surgery was difficult for me but it was the best decision, it has been 4 weeks since the surgery and I am feeling so much better than before I had the surgery, I will recommend Dr. Laurie Summers to everyone that needs back surgery.
