My son was seeing him and instead of him or his office staff calling to let there patients know that he is retiring so now gotta find another neurologist for my son and didn’t even offer to recommend another one at all gotta go to there office to pick up his records they are not professional and they have nasty attitudes not friendly at all I am mad as heck this is so unprofessional they don’t care at all I hope and pray that my son next neurologist is a compassionate and loving person who cares about there patients because these people sure didn’t give a care they really don’t even desire a star they should’ve been shut down a long time ago
Disappointed, but not surprised that my experience was not much different than others based on the reviews here. If I had it to do again, I'd explore other providers.
Please avoid this Doctor at all cost. I promise it’s will be a waste of your time and money. Very unprofessional, Dr has very poor communication skills and constantly repeated himself and asked the same questions over and over. He was on his computer speaking through a microphone that types for him giving incorrect information notes to be put in my chart. During the whole visit he was sitting in a chair with his shoes off scratching his feet. (Gross) his phone kept ringing and he would answer his phone and try to hold conversation with me while on his phone( very unprofessional and violation of hippa laws). My phone rang and he yelled at me to turn my phone off and yelled at my child who was playing a game on her phone as well. Um hell no, yes I absolutely did tell back at him and cursed him out. I’m far from a child and will not tolerate such disrespect from a grown man towards or my child. He has no right correcting my child because he’s not the father of my child. He looses focus on the medical issue of why I’m there. This Doctor is very incompetent and I don’t trust him with my life and would not recommend anyone to him. I will be seeking legal action to have his medical license terminated. I too am a healthcare professional and this is not how you treat your patients much less run a medical business. Therefore he deserves zero stars from me.
walk In the room and spoke to him and he didn’t even speak back . Not friendly at all . Just sitting on his computer for like 25 minutes. No acknowledgement or anything . The worst doctor I ever brought my patient to.
I went in to see Dr. Mussarat after a rear end collision/ high speed car accident. I was hoping to get help for migraines, back pain, and loss of consciousness. He did 3 day EEG and did not listen at all about my pain down my left leg, or migraines. I wasted so much time hoping he would help me. I should have payed attention to Google reviews.
As an experienced Registered Nurse for over 20 years, I have NEVER known such a "doctor" with the POOREST bedside manners and APATHETIC attitude. He does not listen to a word you say, as he kept repeating the same questions over and over and constantly needing to redirect him to the focus of why I was seeking medical treatment. He will perform tests, order radiographic studies but then do NOTHING about it, except "you need to see your primary care doctor" who referred me to him to begin with. He is obviously there only to collect a check.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO AVOID PERVEZ MUSSARAT.HE WILL WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY and FRUSTRATE you. He deserves no right to hold a medical license as his incompetence speaks for itself.***I would rate him less than zero stars, but I had to post a "rating" in order to post this and help other patients avoid this QUACK***
Office smell was stale and felt dirty. Was on cellphone and looking at directions on where to put needles. Very unfriendly no wonder his parking lot was empty. Never again
Saw him for seizures, had videos of them which he just dismissed, did no physical exam at all, was short and rude. He ordered a 3 day eeg and since it did not show seizures, he just dismissed me. No MRI was done. I went for a second opinion at the Neuro Medical Center in Baton Rouge and was informed, after reviewing the videos and doing a thorough examination, and evaluated me, I was diagnosed with frontal lobe seizures and epilepsy which do not show up on EEG's. An MRI will gives us a more definative cause. Awful experience.
Went after an accident, with head and neck trauma. Did not request accident reports, prior medical history, etc. Did not investigate chronic migraines, symptoms of ADHD, anxiety or loss of consciousness. Simply was placed on an SSRI and a diagnosis of an anxiety disorder. Did not seem thorough.
If I could give this doctor zero stars I would! This doctor is horrible! The SAME day I saw this doctor after going over my history & my allergies, he prescribed me medication I am ALLERGIC to. I broke out in hives, I was itching all over, and my throat started to swell leaving me having difficulty to swallow & breathe. And he came off unapologetic & trying to make it seem like he wasn’t his fault!!!!The ONLY reason it didn’t get worse is because I took Benadryl for the itching about two hours before the hives & swelling began. Otherwise, I would have ended up in the hospital on much more serious medication to get the the reaction under control.DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
