Great hospital. Nice staff.

First of all … if I had to choose a rating it would be below a 0. Went last night due to symptoms of a kidney infection. In tears just to get out of bed and go. Waited over 3 hours in the waiting room just to be brought back to redo vitals and be told there was still 6 people in front of me and it was going to be at least 2 hours before I would be put in a room. I have NEVER waited as long as I did with this kind of thing in ANY emergency room.

Worst type of scheduling for appointments. Don't dare try to directly call physicians office. Northoaks has implemented a voicemail (press 3 for clinic) that forces you to speak to a machine instead of your provider.Cardiology worst type of communication. Patients who need a medical clearance, beware. You may have to wait months unless you harass your providers. Choose a different facility if you can.

i went yesterday because of my symptoms of covid and my high heart rate and i was referred to an ER. I am not from this area and so I hadn’t heard anything of this ER from anyone because idk anyone from down here. We got there and I sat there for 7 hours before being seen and treated and I just had the flu . It took 7 hours for me to get diagnosed with the flu. While in the waiting room , a young woman passed away waiting to receive care from the staff. She was waiting for hours as well and she was also pregnant. We informed the doctors and nurses she had no pulse and was not breathing and they took their time and walked to her and when they wheeled her off they stopped her in a hallway and took their time getting her into a room. I genuinely feel so sorry for the young woman’s parents who tried getting the attention of the doctors for hours to prevent this and they didn’t care to give anyone attention. It was my first and LAST time ever visiting North Oaks anything. But to call themselves an Emergency Trauma Center is far beyond what they really are. They don’t take anything as an emergency

Worse hospital ever my great grandmother had bed sore and everything this lady did everything for herself and I would never send nobody to this hospital they don’t care about nobody but they self and my name Dorian wicker

Went to ER on a Monday. I was experiencing bad back pain. Decided to go to ER instead of clinic due to History of Kidney Stones. No tests were given or offered and NP did no examination I was just shut down and told I had muscle spasms. I informed everyone that I had been exposed to Covid. No covid test done! Well on Tuesday woke up could barely sit up. Made it to Dr office and tested positive for Covid.Worst experience ever!! please note I don’t I repeat I don’t go to the ER unless I feel it’s necessary.

One of the best hospitals I’ve been to in a long time. They were helpful and also didn’t rush myself nor my wife. And the way they cleaned my arm up was beyond perfect. Thanks again.
