Dr. Plunkett is a wonderful doctor, I am on my way recovering from the flu. Under his care I haven't been in the ER in quite some time. He listens and cares. I am thankful for him and recommend him if you need a primary care doctor.

I went to his office for a depression and anxiety med refill. The nurse came in the room and asked how I was doing. I told her I was very frustrated due to my attempt to purchase a car and the guy kept bumping up the price after I had given a substantial down payment. So I told her I would like to shoot holes in his/my car or pop a cap on him. I told her I don’t even own any weapons. When she was leaving the room, told her I wasn’t homicidal or suicidal. 20 minutes later after never seeing the doctor, I was forcibly removed and taken to the emergency room and was forced to undergo 10 days in a psychiatric facility. I retired as a nurse anesthetist 6 years ago and am 69. My whole adult life was caring for people. He never even spoke to me or came to the facility, 2 minutes away. He offered me Xanax for depression and anxiety and I told to prescribe something less valuable to thieves near me. I took the whole round of Epclusa to treat Hep c after contacting it 35 years ago while working on an ambulance in Lake Charles. I have been to the lab and they didn’t draw blood to test me after taking the meds for hep c . I still don’t know if it was effective. Very disappointed with his lackadaisical attitude.

I love Dr Plunkett and all his support staff so much! Dr Plunkett always takes the time to listen to my needs and treat them. He’s compassionate and caring about me as a person! He responds quickly when I send him requests in MyChart. His support staff is always great too! They return my calls and actually are about me too! I highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for a new doctor!
