Made an appointment for my child as a new patient due to relocating to the area. Old doctor's office was contacted to fax over records. 30 minutes before the appointment I was contacted that the medical records had not been sent over and they wanted to cancel the appointment. Child was already checked out of school. We sat there for 40 minutes and staff made no attempt at all to get the records so my child could be seen. Had to reschedule the appointment.
Staff can be rude at times. Dr Cruse is more gentle than his partner, Dr. Peltier.
Everyone is very nice and have great rapport with my son. The doctors here are excellent listeners. They helped me create a personalized vaccine schedule for my son. This practice supports breastfeeding. I have been visiting here for run-of the mill things from newborn to age 2 for my son and I whole-heartedly recommend this pediatric practice.
Dr. Cruse is very unknowledgeable about breastfeeding. His office pushes formula for any little bump in the road. He also talks down to people and never speant more than 2-3 mintues in the exam room. The staff in the Thibodaux office (near the hospital) is very rude and always seemed annoyed. The St. Charles street office is a little better, but that is supposed to be for 'well' kids and overflow of sick kids always end up there. There is no seperate waiting room for well and sick there. We switched to Dr. Boudreaux and never looked back.
