He takes an interest in his patients and the time to fully explain what's going on and what we should do next. I would and have referred him to everyone I know.

Determines with patient if med he wants to order for you worked before, and always asks if your meds are current; he works up and down the body WITH YOU to determine how your "physical self" is doing; and because "everyone else" is taking a particular medication for a particular condition (specifically high cholesterol), he wouldn't prescribe it because of the side effect of being invasive of the muscles, and that there are others out there that work just as well. My cholesterol numbers are well in range. He is VERY ATTENTIVE to my needs! His nurse, Lauretta, is awesome! My primary care physician has been Dr. Laurent for atout fifteen years now, even though many other doctors are much closer.

The main problem is that the nurse/appointment setter is unavailable on the phone and does not return phone calls promptly! Expect a long wait.
