Sydney H. Crackower's Online Review Report Card

I recently moved to Lafayette and needed a PCM. Dr. Crackower is a no nonsense doctor who will be honest and frank with you. He asked lots of questions and discussed several treatment options. Two months after my visit and prescribed meds, I feel amazing in comparison to just a few months ago. Go in with a little trust and be willing to be compliant and you will see the results of a very experienced physician that I have come to respect very much.

A no nonsense General Practice Physician. I went in with some serious problems and Dr Crackower sat with me and developed a plan to become well again. After following the guidance, I feel great. I would highly recommend this Doctor to anyone I know.

This doctor is the reason there is a opioid pandemic in America. Breaking doctor patient confidentiality here in the reviews. Just WOW! Just like the other reviews said if you say anything contradictory to what this doctor is shoveling he gets a attitude. Betrer just sit there and open wide for all the bs. World renowned doctors will say nobody knows your body like you. This guy is just trying to sell what his pharmaceutical representative is pushing. He spews all kinds of unsupported facts and myths. Go see another doctor! This one is a snake oil salesman.

After being dropped from my previous pain med doctor for gaining a pound and a without notice. I went many months suffering in pain, barely able to walk or do much of anything. I finally found Dr. Sydney I had my records sent and he excepted me. I had my first visit yesterday and I can say I am very pleased with the way he listened to what was bothering me. Never once did he make me feel like I was less than human.By the end of my appointment I just wanted to hug him for helping me and his bedside manners. Highly recommend this wonder Dr. Everyone with neg. Views must be out their minds and fryed cause this man is the real deal.

I am very thankful for this doctor. He is one of the very few physicians in the Lafayette area that is educated on and understands the severity of my disease and what I have to endure on a daily basis. 5 stars ⭐️

I know there are way more bad reviews on this dr, including mine, that is not showing up in this list. But if you still need another reason to find a different Dr, just the fact that there are multiple bad reviews citing the same experiences should tell you to go somewhere else. Yeah he's a great Dr if you just sit there and don't open your mouth and just swallow whatever comes out of his. But I just couldn't take it anymore which is true for a lot of his patients. And you can bet they gonna respond and say I wanted more drugs. So I'll go ahead and tell you that I asked him to up my dosage, which he answered exactly like I had anticipated. As for the staff I never had a problem with them. Some are friendlier than others but now I understand why.I guess not everyone was taught to treat people how you would want to be treated.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Crackower for over a decade. Anytime I call I am able to speak to one of the two sweet nurses. I’ve been squeezed in on a busy Friday for an emergency appointment, he listens to me and is one of the only physicians who actually still does this! This man has helped me more than I can ever describe. With that being said, I’m sort of shocked at the negative reviews. I’ve never had a bad experience with him in my life. Perhaps some of the negative reviews are due to not getting the requested prescriptions from the doctor and this is a pathetic way of “getting even” for not getting drugs. If that’s the case it’s just pathetic.

There's no doctor with worse reviews in all Lafayette parish. Not only is he rude, he lost out on so many patients like myself. Called for help, and he wouldn't even let me speak. We all need to call the medical examiner board, write them a letter on him and let him retire not gracefully.

I been going 4years I have no problem with Doctor or his nurses I can recommend!!!!

Had not seen this doctor in years. I can tell you honestly when I did see this doctor he was very effective at relieving any pain I encountered. He also was very pleasant to talk with and very helpful. . His staff was very nice and a pleasure to deal with also. I give a 5 star rating at the very least.
