Bhg Lake Charles Treatment Center's Online Review Report Card

I bein in this program for nearly 7 years 5 in Breaux bridge and 3 in lake Charles and they trump any place I ever went to I did the most expensive inpatient programs Louisiana has to offer did 90 day got out 2nd day back on it methadone is the only thing that keeps my life on track longest I keep a job my family had kids and straight out all legal problems on this my question I have to my fellow people at lake Charles what’s the procedure to go over a hundred mg on my dose!? Love the staff and deiodra y’all are angles for the addicted

B.H.G., Dr. D., the counselors and nurses are all positive, kind, professional, understanding, and caring. There IS family support available, IF IT IS REQUESTED. They treat everyone with courtesy, respect, dignity, and compassion, even when an individual is acting psychotic screaming at them. They also genuinely care about the patients.

Waited 7 long months for this place to open back up after a huricane ... They finally open back up ... Been open over a week ... Still no take homes ... The reason ... The Dr. Wants us to get UA before receiving any take homes ... Which is fine ... But they don't have the materials to do drug tests ... So now im back to dosing everyday because they cant get their stuff together... This clinic is very unreliable

Staff is rude since hurricane, refuses to give me an EOB so I can file insurance myself! Calling insurance myself now, as someone who worked in hospitals and doctors office’s all my life I know u can’t charge an office visit and just send nothing to my insurance, and make the patient pay Out of pocket. Different if they didn’t take my insurance! 😠😠

I sure do miss this clinic. We tried one in Baton Rouge. People bring lawn chairs bc the wait is so long. Not to mention they were rude as fk. I'll never complain about the line being backed up to the bottom of the stairs again!! WE MISS YOU BHG!!💜ERIN & CODY

BHG and Dr. Diggillia & his staff have helped so many people enter into recovery & stay in recovery. They offer so many resources and they are sure to let you know what's available for you and together y'all will decide which options are best suitable for you. Recovery is different for each individual and BHG knows & understands that. If I could give more than 5 stars, I certainly would have as they're so deserving of 10 stars.

I can decribe it as a very freeing experience... They do care and thats what people are looking for I switched to methadone to get off the subs and taking the methadone through the withdrawl of several things on top of suboxone has helped me spark more interest in getting completely clean now i know i need the right healthy meds to stay sober.....I had been on subs for 6 yrs they are not judgemental it all depends on your own attitude and what you want for your self and recovery..... I love the whole staff and they are there to help .... I have seen so much on the methadone saved my family life and getting back on track wonderful wonderful great experience..... I couldn't of found a better place and Dr. D listens..... These people understand..... I do not want anymore anything.......now....... Its all in your own choice I thought methadone was a bad choice but its not if your willing to make the decision to really clean up methadone will not make you want anything else and great detox to get off of everything.....people misconcept methadone....... Its not their fault people misuse their medication its the persons fault... All addicts know exactly... Enough said 😆 very awakening for me.... You have to be ready!!!!!! We know this It's down to Me and My God..... I cant thank these people enough.. I was seeing myself in my own addiction that now I truly understand the terms spiraling down and looking at yourself in the mirror .... Methadone great choice to help detoxification. Methadone has more structure I reached my goal and am 2 days sober with the help also of mental health..... I got this Ron lol the ball is knocked out the park.. I couldn't thank these people more for their open arms and understanding if i could give 5 stars I would also...... I'm level I'm happy and Im in my home life .... I was on suboxone 6 yrs and knew I was ready I tried several attemps to get off non ever worked i come here and my eyes just opened.... Toni T bounce back...And I hope their buisness is blessed abundantly😊😊😊😊😊.. I didn't know how bad my addiction was until I came here and started making decisions....Awesome team

The people working are pretty decent to deal with...

The program does what I needed it too.

I’m a spouse of a patient. I’m not very happy with this place. No kind of structure it’s just as bad as the pill mills. I have expressed my dislike for this place. I think they should should have mandatory meetings at least twice a week. I’ve never been an addict so I don’t really know what my wife is going through. There should be some kind of family support groups. It’s like all they want is the money and that’s it.
