The worst doctor I have ever had!! Worst bed-side manner and not willing to look outside the box for answers. I beg any COVD-19 survivors, not to see Dr Turner, if you are having cardiovascular issues. The rudest man I have ever met. I have POTS and Endothelial dysfunction, but he would have never investigated why my heart rate went up (30 -40 beats) upon standing or why my feet turned purple when I stood too long. Just tells you, you have anxiety, and you need to see a psychiatrist. The man has no morals or ethics, and bad mouths you when the office door is shut.
I am not sure why the other people gave such poor reviews. Dr. Turner has always been very considerate, knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend him in a heartbeat--no pun intended.
I don't have any good things to say about this Doctor. I was recovering from covid and went to see him after I started noticing my heart rate would skyrocket from just walking up a flight of stairs to across the room. He told me I should see a psychiatrist and to just exercise. At the time, I couldn't even walk around the grocery store without chest pains. He even refused to look at my echo or blood work from my GP. I moved to Chicago and found out I have POTS syndrome from Covid. My nervous system isn't functioning properly, so my heart and BP isn't regulating like it should. All I needed was a beta blocker, compression hose, uptake in salt and more fluids throughout the day. Turner is so unprofessional and bad mouths his patients to his nurse in hall. He doesn't care about the wellbeing of his patients. He told me that the ER wouldn't do anything for me and to remember the next time my heart beats fast in the middle of the night... it's just in my head! Please see another cardiologist!!
I went to Turner in May, after suffering from Covid. I had a racing heart at all hours of the day and had chest pains that kept me from sleeping at night. This man dismissed me and told me to go see a psychiatrist. He refused to look at my blood work or my heart tests from my GP. This guy is the worst!!! I moved to Chicago and seeing a better cardiologist now. In addition, I'm seeing a neurologist at Northwestern. I still have a pounding heart and recently got diagnosed with Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. Dr. Turner just dismissed me when I said, I have muscles twitches and nerve pain. I even heard him talking bad about me to his nurse in the hallway. PLEASE DON'T SEE THIS DOCTOR!!! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!
Went to my doctor appointment today to see he was not there why do they schedule a dr appointment when he's not there next appointment in 3 wks told not to expect cardiologist to be there since its football season i mean reallly still want to charge me same rate and bill insurance what a poor excuse for a so called cardeologist
As far as im concerned he is one of the best there is.Saved my Life.
extremely rude. doesn't make me feel he cares what happens to his patients. n his nurse is even worse than Turner!!
