Sudha Mardia..... sigh.. I don't recommend anyone come here. The doctor constantly cuts you off when you're trying to explain the problem. She has no idea how to talk to people or LISTEN FIRST. She thinks she knows what the insurance is going to pay and not pay, I have two insurances....she blew me off twice now. I have been suffering with a neck problem for over a year and not just because my "neck hurts." She's a GP she's not qualified to diagnose me. I need a referral to a NECK AND BACK Dr. I want treatment! Please don't come here if you have a real problem, you will get no help. She doesn't understand how medicine works or how Insurance works I don't know how this woman is a doctor.
Excellent, compassionate care
I was left horrified after my visit with Dr. Mardia. I was seeking an annual visit and I wanted a prescription for eczema and a referral to see a sleep specialist. Dr. Mardia was so focused on giving me a PAP smear and trying to push birth control down my throat! I did not visit her for birth control but the items I listed above. After I had to talk her out of not worrying about what I'm doing with my vagina, she then proceeds to become obsessive with my weight. She was stating how obese I was and how I should eat NOTHING. YES! She told me to eat NOTHING! Then she saw the shocked look upon my face and said I should try to eat only 1 tsp of food a day. Yes, 1 tsp! How she has her license? She is practically trying to force unhealthy food habits upon me. She also did not even look at my rash on my leg and told to dig up my old breathing machine in the closet. It was the worst experience EVER!

Very bad experience as Primary Doctor, check up interview done by one of her student, with no sharing of info, leading to more unnecessary appointments not covered by insurance. Waste of time and money.
My visit to Dr Mardia was possibly the worst experience that I have ever had with a physician. She was very rude. I am a heavy woman but I am intelligent and not ignorant about the causes or the affects of obesity. I am currently in a very serious state of depression. I tried to talk with her about this and she said its because I am fat. She refused to give me any anti-depressants or to refer me for any mental health services until I had dieted for 30 days.
She was rude and made rude comments because I'm young and pregnant and I'm not married. She also did not give me my results for any of my blood work or testing. She tried to force me to take a test that was optional for me and my unborn child.
She is not a very compassinate doctor. I was pregnant for my first child she never let me hear the heart beat, I transfered over to a OB and during my first visit found out I had a blighted ovum. Pregnant but the baby never developed and she never heard a heart beat there was never one to hear. She also told me I had hepatitis b, which false. Just antibodies from being vaccinated. Any good doctor would have known that off the bat. Save yourself, see someone else.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
