List of Richard L. Long's Reviews
I haven’t been to a Dr in a while. Dr Long was my PCP long ago. He is now on my Humana plan again as my PCP very happy about that. I will be seeing him asap for my yearly checkup and bloodwork.
I found Dr. Long to be very professional and also very kind. He took the time to answer my questions and asked me things about my health l hadn't thought to ask. When l had a problem with a new medication he returned my call the same day.
Terrible experience!
Morticians have better bedside manner. He *really* doesn’t want to help, and has no empathy. He is cold and rude. Pray for his soul.
By far the worst Dr I have encountered, went for a follow up for my elderly mother bc of an ER visit bc of conflicting meds. Accused her of doctor shopping even though she has 3dr’s in same system, he was condescending, arrogant, and told me he talked to her like a dog bc he knew his patient! He asked if I was close to her, I said yes and then said obviously I wasn’t bc I would have known her meds, which change frequently. He gave her multiple meds that interact with each other, then I told him her problems and gave her 3 more meds that contribute to the problem, I asked him for social work help and he said welcome to being a caregiver! Do not go to him as a primary care physician, I would not even bring my dog to him. He lost his compassion a long time ago. He should have retired the minute he became so cynical and lost his compassion , and stopped looking at people like they are human beings! Too many other things to list!!
I found Dr Richard Long to have patience when listening to my symptoms. He also had good, informative feedback in response to my symptoms. On another very positive note, Dr Long is kind, caring and confident regarding his medical knowledge relative to the patient’s symptoms. I have and will continue to have Dr Long provide medical care for me.
Dr. Long is very down to earth and takes time to explain. He is a very caring doctor.
Dr Long has been my primary care physician for about 7 years now. He has always listened and provided the right approach.
Dr Long has gone above and beyond with helping my wife with orders and referrals required to help her rehab from a stroke. We could not be more thankful for having him as a primary care doctor.
Dr. Long stays on top of my medical conditions. Ordering more detailed blood work may have saved my life!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
