Not sure if he was having a bad day today or not but it was my third time coming for a follow up and I still haven't gotten any answers as to what I'm currently going through. I repeated several times that I do not know where my issues are coming from and instead of acting with care, I felt very dismissed. I understand doctors see the same scenarios all the time but the attitude was highly uncalled for and I still received no remedy or temporary relief suggestions. Absolutely none! Although on the first appointment he told me what it looks like and on the third appointment he didn't know what it was and nothing has changed since the first appointment. I am just trying to find answers to something that isn't normal to me and has me inflamed at different times everyday. I will definitely not be coming back here once I receive the results for testing that I believe should have been done since first seeing him.

Unable to spend a few minutes comfortably with patient. Rude and disrespectful when you bring up with your opinions other than his own opinions.

He is extremely knowledgeable and explains really well. I came for one thing and he had detected an autoimmune disease which he is monitoring me on. He gives you a through evaluation. Really nice staff. Very clean. No long wait. Highly Recommend.

I've had numerous apptsWith Dr. Ballay and he was always thorough. He helped me through a terrible sinus infection and it kept me from having surgery. He also found another infection and treated me. He is so knowledgeable and kind. He and his staff are so fun and down to earth and I wish I could give them all 20 stars. I would never hesitate to go to him. The wait time is minimal and I don't know how that happens because he really spends time with his patients. I have been to many doctors and I must admit he is the best!!!! I would recommend him to anyone and I have. You will not be disappointed.

Very personable and explains everything

Dr. Ballay is not a good doctor. He's very rude and disrespectful. I saw him 3 times and paid my out-of-pocket well over 2K (after insurance discounts) for visits and sleep studies. I have no sleep apnea because I feel well rested every day. But I told him my suspicion so he suggested me for a Home Sleep study. We didn't seem to agree on the results because I was not feeling tired during the day at all. He then suggested me for an In-lab study and a CAT scan of my throat. During this time, I also purchased myself an SpO2 Oxygen monitoring device and a sleep study device. I tested myself every night for over 2 months while waiting for the CAT scan results, In-lab Sleep study results and seeing him for result reviewing. When it was time to review all the results, he quickly made conclusion based on the inaccurate results of the In-lab Sleep study. He suggested me a strongest CPAP available on the market because I didn't get any Deep sleep or REM sleep during In-lab Sleep study. I told him that because they put me in a total strange room, wired me up with 28 wires, and hook me up with CPAP mask and hose so I couldn't sleep. He quickly disregard me comment. I asked him to give me a minute or 2 to explain how I feel. He quickly interrupted me every single time I started to say a word and kept on concluding on his baseless study. I suspected this was going to happen as I observed him the first time I saw him, but didn't want to conclude anything and wanted to give us a chance to work out something good at the end. For this same suspicion, that's why I bought 2 devices mentioned above and I have over 2 months' worth of data that makes sense to how I feel. I typed up my own study result summary, which consists of 4 short lines and 3 short lines of conclusion. I only planned to show him only in case we have conflict results or I can't talk again. Sure enough, he didn't want give me 2 minutes to hear any of my comments. I explained and begged him for 2 minutes to hear my comments so he can answer the questions that are contradicted to my actual feeling (well-being). So I then asked him to read my short note mentioned above but he refused to read and said "don't believe all that craps". I told him that "but it makes sense and it reflects my actual feeling/well-being, and I just want you to read and explain to me what makes sense and what doesn't". He then said "I'm going to find you another ENT", and he walked out of the patient room. Imagine paying thousands of dollars and your doctor can't even listen to you for 2 minutes to hear about how you actual feel and well-being. If he just give me 2 minutes to bring up my questions regarding the contradictions and explain it, then everything would have been fine for doctor-patient relationship. But he chose to be rude, disrespectful and walked out on patient instead. I DO NOT recommend this doctor to anyone.

I recently had a procedure performed by Dr. Charles Ballay. From the first visit through the surgery, the staff and doctor were amazing both in the office and at West Jeff Hospital. After only a 2-day recovery I'm feeling great and am able to go about my normal life. Thank you.

Loved my experience. Staff was friendly. Dr. took time to explain everything and I did not feel rushed out of the office as with other specialist I have seen.

Best Doctor I have ever seen! He is very good in all aspects! Great bed side manners, he knows his stuff, great staff, and he is amazing with kids! He will answer your questions without rushing you and he takes his time to explain things in a manner you can understand! Every visit is the same and I wish he could see my for everything, lol!!!! Great place, wish I could give 10 stars!!!!
