David A Beary's Online Review Report Card

THIS IS THE WORST OFFICE STAFF EVER!! LISA AND BEN ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. WITH 48 HRS OF MY COLONOSCOPY THE COLON PREP WAS NEVER CALLED INTO THE PHARMACY. I CALLED THE OFFICE TO GET THE PREP ORDERED BEN INFORMED THAT HE WOULD SEND NURSE LISA A MESSAGE. LONG STORY SHORT LISA DID NOT RETURN MY CALL NOR DID SHE CALL THE PRESCRIPTION IN. NOW ITS 24 HRS PRIOR TO THE COLONOSCOPY AND ALL I RECEIVED WAS EXCUSES FROM LISA AS TO WHO DROPPED THE BALL ON THIS MATTER. LISA BLAMED WALGREENS BUT A CENTRAL SEARCH WAS DONE BY WALGREENS AND THE PRESCRIPTION WAS NEVER ORDERED. LISA GAVE ME A LONG STORY AND STROKED HER EGO ABOUT HOW GOOD SHE IS AT HER JOB AND HOW LONG SHE BEEN EMPLOYED, BLA BLA BLA........ IT TOOK SEVERAL PHONE CALLS TO THE OFFICE AND ONE RESULTED IN BEN HANGING UP BEFORE OUR CONVERSATION WAS COMPLETE. LISA NEVER TOOK OWNERSHIP IN HER PART, SHE BASICALLY SAID THAT SHE WAS BUSY AFTER CLINIC AND DOES NOT MAKE CALLS AFTER CLINIC.

Dr. Beary and his staff is amazing!!!!

I've been seeing Doctor Beary for years. I have never had a problem. Great bedside manner, very patient, Takes time to listen and seems to be more worried about his patient then their insurance.

Terrible attitude from the office staff. The office manager is just as rude. Instead of addressing the issue, she said “You should probably go elsewhere.” Very unprofessional and the way they process payments is just as unprofessional; through an IPhone app.

Dr. BEARY AND MISS ANN have been awesome helping me. I am a new patient with Liver Disease and they have jumped right in with getting me the meds I need and have been running tests. He promised to get Medicaid on board with aggressive and very expensive meds. I just love him.

His Wife is very DIFFICULT AND DISRESPECTFUL. This woman yelled at me for advising her the file she had was not my file. As myself and my mother continued to speak she told me I was a "Liar" concerning my visit. His wife began to call my mother out of her. My mother reported the incident to Human Resource. I would not ever be a patient.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!!!!!! DO. NOT. GO. TO. THIS. DOCTOR. SAVE YOUR FIRST PATIENT FEE MONEY FOR A DOCTOR AND STAFF WHO GENUINELY CARES ABOUT YOU AND YOUR ILLNESSES. I barely even want to go into detail with my experience with this doctor and his office it upsets me so much.I paid $250 only to be have an incompetent office staff with no people skills do everything wrong with the paperwork, regarding sending it to my insurance company to have them cover the prescription cost of my medicine. I was not able to get my prescription because of their mistakes. When I called my insurance company to see why my medicine was delayed, they informed me they received little to no paperwork from Dr. Beary's office regarding covering the cost of my medicine. When I called Dr. Beary's office to inform them of this they insisted my insurance company was lying. Which they weren't. After that phone call, (which i remind you is on a recorded line) i receive an incoming call from cell phone number, when I answered it was a nurse from dr. Berry's office.Her first words after I answered with hello were, come get your $250 because we refuse to treat you any more or have you as a patient. I asked why when she said that, and she told me it is because I'm a nuisance because I keep calling the doctor's office about my delayed prescription (that was delayed because of their incompetence to send in paper work.) I've only called the office twice that morning before and after calling my insurance company wondering what was going on with my medicine which I was supposed to receive after my visit. During the rest of the duration of the phone call, she goes on to start screaming at me, belittling me, and telling me I am a liar. I have never been so verbally abused this way by a nurse before. I have no idea why she would even call me from this unknown number acting this way, the two times i called the office that morning, the office i PAID to be a patient at, I was never rude or demanding, just genuinely concerned about why my medicine was delayed.By the end of the call I'm crying, and just asking her to send what they need to send to my insurance so I can finally get my meds. She tells me shes hanging up and is done with me. I have no idea why she treated me this way. I have copies of the documents they were suppose to send to my insurance.When the pharmacy finally calls hours later to pick up my prescription, I go there to find out the quantity is 30, instead of 60 which i was initially prescribed, and was written on the prescription paper i dropped off because Dr. Beary ordered I take 2 a day of my medicine I was prescribed. Not one. I come to find out Dr. Beary's staff, (I'm assuming the nurse who verbally abused me over the phone), put on the paper work sent to my insurance that I was ordered to take one a day. Which was NOT Dr. Beary's orders. It was even written on the prescription paper i dropped off at the pharmacy the exact amount I take daily and the quantity. The pharmacist also informs me Dr. Beary has discontinued me as a patient. More than likely also the nurse who abused me's doing.So basically, im stuck with half a month's prescription of medicine I need to take twice daily, and out $250. The pharmacist informed me I cannot get the other half of the prescription for another 28 days unless I pay out of pocket.Please save yourself from this entire experience and go to a competent doctor with a competent staff. A nurse from this office literally called me from her cell phone to threaten and verbally abuse me because I called the office twice in one day. Nobody working in this office should be allowed to even work with patients. Save your money and time, don't even consider this office.

Very curt with one word answers. Doesn't explain anything. No bedside manner. Talking to him is like pulling teeth trying to get information out of him.

I am so glad that Dr. Beary was recommended to me. He was very thorough and took time to answer all my questions. He and his office staff were very nice and friendly to me.
