List of Moises A. Arriaga's Reviews
Dr. Arriaga is as good and professional as any Dr. can be. His knowledge and ability is exceptional. He and his staff are truly top notch in every regard.
Excellent! Professional!
I had visited Dr. Arriaga in 2016 with a referral from my ENT. I returned to the hearing and balance center in the. fall of 2018 as I had developed a balance problem. I was treated successfully by Dr. Klump and by Dr. Duey. Both treated me with patience and care. They always had time to answer my questions and returned calls to me promptly, usually within an hour. I felt exceedingly secure while being treated in their care.
Worked principally with his nurse practitioner APRN before seeing. Arriaga. Visit with him was very quick. He had all the scans and reports in front of him for our Q and A. Then he dictated his summary. It's worth the visit just to hear him dictate. Incredible speed, more like an auctioneer. Barely understood a word he said but the transcription came out perfect. Working with Dr. Arriaga and his nurse practitioner streamlined the process making it very efficient.
A month and three calls later still cannot get someone to make an appt for return visit. Unsat. Dr Arriaga is great. Support staff sucks!!!
First visit turned out great and he seemed to understand what I was explaining with my vertigo, etc. At that time I had a good bluecross health plan but after I was slammed back onto LA medicaid, it was like he was a changed person. He put me through 11 months of testing with no real explanation of the outcome. Every appt he kept pushing me off on his PA who was very nice but not the dr. Final outcome is that he told me to quit smoking and he would see me in a year! Very disappointed in this dr.
Dr.arriaga is a phenomenal physician. I have complete trust and confidence in his guidance in my health. He is very genuine and thorough. As busy as he is, he has never rushed my visit and is willing to discuss any concerns. Scheduling is tight but that should be expected for any doctor who is in high demand.
Dr. Arriaga was able to diagnose my unusual condition on the first visit. I had been seeing others and seeking help for months. He was the first one who understood the problem. After delicate surgery, my problem was resolved. My hearing was saved and my way of life was restored. He is an excellent physician. My condition was Superior Canal Dehiscence.
Great doctor, I was treated 13 years for just symptoms I had and no doctor in my region could figure out it was a previous accident causing my severe vertigo. Dr. Arriaga immediately sent me to a neurologist who determined I had brain damage from an auto accident. He put me on a drug call Betahistine and switched me to neuro-vestibular therapy. I have finally improved and rarely fall now. I wasted 13 years seeing doctors in Mandeville/Covington and Hammond.
My mom has been his patient for over three years and may have seen the actual Doctor once. We were left in the hands of his interns and nurse practitioners. The nurse practitioner was actually very nice and helpful, but once we were turned over to the audiologist and appointment desk it was over!!! Office staff does not return calls. I reported the service to the office manager, but no results. My mom was sick since before Christmas through after New Years. Good luck!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
