Love Dr Acosta!! I'm surprised by the negative reviews, since all of my experiences have been really positive. He's always on time, which is very rare! He actually listens to my concerns and responds to them. I couldn't ask for more.
Best doctor ever. Love him so much.
Best Doctor.
We were assigned Dr. Acosta when discharged from the hospital after a stroke. Didn’t have a primary care doctor. He has been great. Takes time with you. Doesn’t rush. Explains everything. He is a great doctor and I would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Acosta is an excellent physician, who always takes his time with all his patients and listens to your concerns. He's very thorough, kind, great bedside manners, makes you feel comfortable, and knowledgeable. Dr. Acosta staff is excellent and very nice. Its been like this for the past 10 years, from being to end! Thank you, The Chesnut Family
I am very disappointed with this doctor and this practice. When someone tells a doctor their diagnoses and it is clear there could be an underlying problem and you ask that doctor for help in figuring it out, one would think the doctor would care enough to help. Instead, you're left pulling teeth and frustrated. Without going into too much detail, consider that someone gets a blood test in early May and is never contacted about the results and when that someone finally gets an answer because she has called and called, you learn that the levels were low but yet no one contacted you to tell you they were low and you discover it was a very limited test and you ask yourself why ... why would he do that? Never in my life have I had a doctor order just two things when he could get a whole freakin panel with one draw. I'm done.
Edit: Found out I was rudely turned away because the nurse thought i had Medicaid/Medicare. Complete lack of respect for people. No my insurance is not medicaid it is through my employer. disappointed in the service I received at this office. Made an appointment online, waited 2 weeks only to take off work and be told that Dr. Acosta does not take my employers UnitedHealthcare insurance. Shouldnt this be asked when confirming the appt? I lost hours at work due to this and now have to take off again to see another doctor.
This dr and staff are very disorganized!!! They never answer questions and you will never get to talk to a nurse about your loved one! Please don't us for elderly!

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
