Only negative was that I arrived on time for my 10:30 appointment but was made to wait for almost an hour before my name was called……otherwise, they would have rated 5 stars.

The job was done great. I would be giving a great review. But, highly disappointed by one staff member. Unfortunately these days. When it comes down to customer service, everyone is be under the scope. I went in for my appointment and was asked to fill three forms before my appointment was started. I completed these forms completely and gave them to the receptionist. She was professional. I was asked to wait. I waited about 15 min. Then I was call…”Mr. Melgar”. ??? First of all I don’t know a man that had their tubes tied…which was one of the questions I answered. Hmm. Then I stood up to walk towards the door I was being called from. I was then approached with a very insulting question, I felt was presumptuous, insulting, and a little prejudice. “Do you speak English”? Was the question. Well I kinda don’t know what not speaking English looks like. But, I was polite to answer. I do not need to stoop to depths of the ignorance of that question. In the first place, all the forms I just filled out were in English. I felt the technician was ignorant and unprofessional. She never even ask a question, she just assumed I was a non English speaking hispanic, I guess. Personally I don’t think she belongs in a field that has to deal with medical service. If she treats other Hispanic or anyone of any other backgrounds with assumptions. And with that type if ignorance, she should not be in the business of medical services or humane services at that. Human Resources should be told. In the world of management, she would be reported to HR and given a final warning. I can only imagine her mindset of a diverse workplace. Ugh 😑 just stupid. Added: First of all. I was the only patient in the room facing the door to which your attendant came out of. And there was one gentleman that came in and he was with the receptionist. So I was the only one in the room that could be seen. And second of all, no apology was given. The only thing that was said, because I got up to the door, to which I was being called to, was, or Mrs. Melgar. Because she saw I was a woman. And then, is when I was asked directly if I spoke English. Maybe my body language is, I speak Spanish. It is a common practice to get information from patients to access what we are doing with them. We are never to assume anything out of respect, show you respect and show care in the information that is provided. Maybe the training needed is diversity. We are a country of immigrants, not ignorant's.

The appointment time that was text and told to me was an hour from actual appointment time. Was told to be there for 0915 appointment time 0930. Wasnt seen until after 10am.
