I have never been treated so badly by a dr before...I went in 4 a colonoscopy on a Monday...I called every single day..leaving messages at monroe bastrop n hospital with no reply. I ended up in er sunday with fever of 104 n ungodly pain...found out that there is something wrong with my liver n I have a kidney disease..I have NEVER felt so devalued as a human being in my life. I also have bruises everywhere on my body..I do not recommended him n go to someone who at least cares enough to call u back if after 7 days u r still in pain n all of a sudden u r battling a fever a 104
Would leave less if I could
I was referred to this doctor after seeing two others. He listened to me, was understanding and very thorough in the tests that he ordered. Happily, I was finally able to learn exactly what my issue is and received the right medication that has helped me tremendously!
HE IS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE.....IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING THAT OTHER DOCTORS CAN NOT DIAG THEN HE IS YOUR DOCTOR! VERY SHARP! HE IS ONE OF THE BEST GI DOCTORS EVER HANDS DOWN. I HAVE WORKED WITH HIM FOR 19 YEARS AND OTHER GI DOCTORS IN THE AREA. HE IS VERY COMPETENT AND HAS EXCELLENT SKILLS. BRILLIANT DOCTOR. HE HAS TREATED MY ENTIRE FAMILY.
My experience was a poor one, mainly because he spent an average of 5 minutes wrongly diagnosing me. He had the CAT scan results and still went against what they said. It was pancreatitis that was giving me problems on my left side, but he insisted that this was a drinking man's disease and that I did not have that. Instead he wrongly diagnosed me with gallbladder issues which led to removal. I did go back in worse pain and he finally sent me to a specialist and HE found auto-immune pancreatitis
He is a great doctor, very knowledgeable and doesn't like for his patients to wait. Highly recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
