Came to the St. Francis E.R. with my sister because she was having symptoms similar to a heart issue. We waited 4 hours before being taken to a room. She was brought an “estimate” (estimated balance after her insurance) and asked to pay immediately - while in an untied gown laying on a hospital bed. Stunned, we gave a credit card. Even at the doctor’s office you’re allowed to pay upon leaving. Do they treat everyone like this? What would have happened had she been unable to pay the balance immediately?!While the staff was kind and polite, it certainly showed us where the company’s priorities are. 🙁
I prefer St. Francis Hospital because it is so close to where I presently live!!
Everyone there treated me with so much respect very professional and kind especially lady called Beba
Had 12 hour EEG at St. Francis recently ordered by Dr. Pena. The nurse, Lindsey that performed the EEG was really great as is Dr. Pena every time we see him. I drive from Shreveport because the care we get is the best! Dr. Pena’s nurse, Jennifer always returns calls promptly. Highly recommend! The hospital was clean, admissions went smooth and the person that did our intake was nice!
Had a horrible car accident and Dr.micheal Rommen sent me to work without restrictions after one day despite me having a physically demanding job!!! They are jeopardizing my job and Meline Gram the charge nurse was rude cut me off mid sentence & transferred the call to her subordinate to make an excuse for her rudeness. Rude staff. I wish there was a known protocol to report these inconsiderate people.Update: they changed the work excuse from 1 day of rest to recover to two days. After I called back. You have to advocate for yourself at the place.Second update: this is my final update for this place. my hand is broken. I had to go to another doctor/hospital who listened to me and X-ray exactly where I indicated the pain. My hand is broken!!! Stay away from this place because they clearly don’t listen/care!!!
They have set up a two-tiered healthcare system which discriminates against the unvaccinated. The vaccinated in their covid units are attended by physicians who are employed by St Francis directly, while the unvaccinated are stuck with state-funded contract doctors.Lawsuits incoming, and hopefully criminal prosecutions as well.
My husband had a stroke and was in CCU from July 7-28, 2021. The doctors and nurses there in CCU were very professional and caring. They made me feel as though they really cared about my husband. I was please with the service received. A big thank you to the staff there.
I've been there two separate time in the last to months. I was screamed at also ridiculed for being at the hospital because they did not believe my 4yr old looked very sick and she had RSV and a lymph node swollen 2 inches long sticking out at least 1/2 inch from her neck. Today I was yelled at for trying to get my name corrected and told just answer to the wrong name on my paperwork??? The wrong name does not match my insurance card???? Also the doctor yelled because he had too many other patients to deal with and then I was forgotten about at discharge and finally my script was issued to the pharmacy in the wrong name. Very poor professionalism. Also had snot on my bed and used bloody needles on my floor.
Dr. Fox and the staff at the pulmonology clinic provided the best care imaginable for my husband! Ms. Barbara at the lab was such a pleasure also!!! I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Don't go here if you get brain tromma they won't help

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
