List of John Ledbetter's Reviews
Dr. Ledbetter was just the best! He was very thorough and explained everything to me. I can't say enough great things about him!
Speedy, efficient, caring service.
Dr Ledbetter and his staff just everyone at La Pain Center are awesome. I would highly recommend them for helping anyone in pain get better.
Dr. Ledbetter saw me in the hospital and was VERY nice and actually took the time to go over a treatment plan with me. He even asked my opinion. He went over my history and was very understanding. I would definitely recommend him.
I would be very careful with this dr. I have been a patient for 4 plus years. I settled my workers comp case in june. I was off medication for 3 weeks and was celebrating with my daughter (she got into vet school and i had just gotten back into college after a 20 year break) That visit i had expressed concerns over time. The pa and i decided to try tramadol. ( Keep in mind i had a failed neck surgery....we won't even talk about the power trip of the staff with my neck surgeon and my medication). I decided to try the tramadol with the contention if it didn't work we would address that. I am a self pay patient. I had to pay for the online assessment, a 350 drug test (with another 99 dollars due to millennial testing) And i was out of my oxycodone for 3 weeks. My drug screen was at 0830 after having margaritas and sparkling wine with my daughters. Come Friday i went to my appointment and informed a different pa the tramadol isn't working. I am on a college campus 4 days a week walking no less than 3 miles a day with 30 lbs of books. Because i had alcohol in my tox screen no one would speak to me, not dr Ledbetter or the PA i had the appointment with. This is how drug addicts are created....funny how there are no bad reviews on Google. This story definitely needs to be shared! Toodles!
If the very expensive shots work you are treated well. However, the worse your condition is the worse you are treated and the more you are humiliated/undertreated. Mr. Ledbetter has a monopoly within a 100+ mile radius and he knows it. Good luck. **EDIT** Response to “Owner’s Reply” I DID try to talk about my experience. I began the day of my belittling and humiliation. Mr. Ledbetter would not see me after his employee reduced me to tears. I attempted to file a complaint. I emailed anyone I could who worked there with any “power.” I reached out to congressmen, senators, the ACLU, etc, etc. I think the kicker was when I was in an automobile accident (hit from the side, rolled multiple times) and had to switch pain clinics. I decided to give you another try. It had been a few years, my pain was mostly controlled, and I had often wondered if I could have handled things better with your company. Pain does tend to bring out the worst in people, after all. My lawyer made an appointment with you. I waited the two months and made sure that you saw the BEST of me. ANYONE who knows me knows that I am able to get along with practically ANYONE! As luck would have it, I saw the exact same guy who verbally crushed me years before. C. was very nice to me this time, asking about my pain and the horrible accident I was in. I think he must have remembered me about halfway through our short visit because he excused himself to confer with Mr Ledbetter. Upon returning, he stated that “due to our history, I do not think we have anything to offer you in the way of treatment options.” So, once again you took my money, wasted my time, and left me humiliated and in tears of pain and frustration. I DESPISE speaking ill towards a person or business. It goes against EVERYTHING that I believe in as a person, a pastor, and a firm Believer in Christ. But, if it helps to let others know that they are not alone in their mistreatments, shows new chronic pain patients that these experiences do not represent ALL pain clinics, or helps to strengthen others to speak out, then it is worth it. I appreciate your reply here. BUT, you have my contact info. I’ve NEVER received ANYTHING concerning my negative experiences...except here, where the public might see that you are “trying to do right.”
Dr. Ledbetter was a pleasure to meet. He took the time to explain what was happening with my health, answered my questions in ways that educated me, and did both with a character that make my world a better place to be.
The staff was kind and friendly. I would recommend Dr. Ledbetter to anyone who would appreciate the kindness and professionalism he exhibits. This was a positive experience.
Very knowledgeable, professional and caring. Took time to fully understand my situation and provide me with answers to my questions and concerns.
Dr Ledbetter made me comfortable on my initial visit. He explained the procedure that he felt would help my condition. He was very kind and I feel that he will always be someone I can depend on for good care. Yes, indefinitely will recommend Dr. Ledbetter as I continue being treated.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
