List of Kenneth Perego's Reviews
My husband is a poor historian and has some mild to moderate memory loss, so I am the spokesperson. While I was trying to explain some of the difficulties he was having, Dr. Perego held up his hand (you know, show me the hand), so, a little shocked, I stopped talking. He proceeded to talk about everything except what my husband's problems were. He left the room to check on some previous lab work, and my husband said, "I don't think I like him." He has excellent credentials and I was told that his patients "love him" and that he has good outcomes with his surgeries. So, I persisted. He said to make another appointment and changed some of his medication. So, we made another appointment. Just before the appointment, I had a "feeling" that even though he may have a great record and may be a good practitioner, a good rapport with patients and a mutual respect is necessary for healing. So, I cancelled the appointment. Also he didn't wear a mask and everyone else there did.
Dr Perego has been my Doctor for years. I prefer him over all other urologist.
I would not recommend this doctor. He pushed me to get a procedure done called Urolift that another urologist said wasn't necessary. I had severe complications and 3 trips to the emergency room. Another urologist had to perform emergency surgery to correct the problem. The emergency room and myself couldn't reach Dr. Perego when I was in trouble.
Dr. Perego recommended a URO Lift and I had it done. He never put me on a flow meter. Everything ok first day then three emergency rm visits plus a bladder washing and cauterizing places by another urologist when I couldn't get any response from his office. Intense pain and blood clots but a don't worry about it response from his office. Went to emergency room at Natchitoches and they transferred me to Rapides where Dr. Perego isn't even licensed to practice. The new urologist said my prostate wasn't even large enough to require a urolift at this time but he fixed the problem created by Dr. Perego

Dr Perego is a conman-thief
Best of the best ... Found a huge kidney stone that other doctors had been missing for decades.. Very knowledgeable and professional.. Would nominate him for sainthood if I could...
It's hard to say enough good things about a doctor who saves your life and Dr Perago saved mine. He's a humble man and gives all the credit to God. Speaking of God, I have thanked Him every day for sending me to Dr Perago.
Doctor Perego has treated for the last 7 years, for kidney cancer and bladder cancer, I'm due now for an appointment, but has left the Alex. Nerou. Center, I'm trying to get his new address and phone number to make an appointment, would greatly appreciate help, thanks
We are so thankful to Dr. Perego for his care of my husband, Harry. He has treated him for bladder stones, kidney stone, and prostate cancer. He is an outstanding physician and an amazing Christian man.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
