Extremely unprofessional and unpleasant. Cruel and inappropriate remarks to an elderly patient during painful procedure. Not recommended for even the most minor ailments. Stay clear.

Husband went for a required physical and Dr. Luster was incredibly rude. There is absolutely no reason for it. He must have failed bedside manners class.

Dr. Luster’s Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) is located on the 4th floor in Natchitoches Regional Med. Center While visiting with my brother. Luster did not show any concern for curative as he spoke loud declaring death over my brother as he lay there listening. He repeated the message loudly in the presence of the his patient “ he’s dying, he will starve, we can’t cure him, he’s in a position to have a heart attack. His kidneys are failing. Not once did this doctor give any glimpse of hope to the patient. He actually spoke death to his patient openly and repeatedly in the presence of him and witnesses. He told me I was selfish for allowing my brother to eat. Luster showed no bedside manners. It was the worst experience I had ever witnessed. This patient has stitches in his side that was left in him since his lungs were punctured over a month ago. This LTAC team speaks quickly on my brother's condition without any facts or documentation to substantiate their lack of service.

My daughter is 21 and is just getting started with finding her own Primary Dr. We looked online and read reviews and decides on Dr. Luster. The staff are all very friendly and our wait time was no more than 10 mins in the front and maybe about the same once we were taken back. Dr. Luster has such a wonderful, caring bedside manner and was very thorough. So glad she chose this clinic!

He is very suspicious of patients. You can be going there for stomach ulcers and tell him you take prilesec and he will be like oh did you mean Prozac. Not everyone who goes to a doctor is lying. If he can't run a blood test and vitals and immediately draw a conclusion he assumes your hysterical or that your issues are in your head. Fine for minor everyday things like blood pressure, but no better than walk in for refusing to dig deeper. He also blatantly ignores what his patients are saying.

I highly recommend Dr. Luster and his staff. They see me as soon as possible, treat me well and always help with any health problems. I have complete trust in this doctor.
