Adham Al Hariri Md's Online Review Report Card

I was referred to Dr. Hariri by my plastic surgeon for lower eyelid surgery. Upon calling Dr. Hariri's office no one answered the phone. I called back to be greeted by a rude receptionist and immediately put on hold. I waited approximately 15 minutes with no one to come back to my call. I hung up and called back and was instantly put on hold without even to find out who I was, I could have been another new patient but obviously they didn't care. Again I waited. No answer came. Upon my third call a very aggravated woman answered and ask me "what do you want". I tried to explain that I was calling to make an appointment to see Dr. Hariri for a lower eyelid consultation. Her response was "yea yea yea I'll take care of this". I take plastic surgery extremely seriously. I feel it is important to seek the very best in their practice to perform surgical procedures on my face. When one chooses a surgeon for any procedure it is trust in his expertise and his front office that is important in ones decision to utilize a physician. When the front office is rude and unprofessional this is an indication of a thread that originates with the doctor and runs through his office personnel directly to the patient. I advise to select a surgeon that understands that respect and professionalism in his office staff is paramount for the patient to receive the best patient experience possible. My treatment by Dr. Hariri's office personnel indicates a rude and unprofessional workplace with no emphasis on patient satisfaction. There are many other excellent qualified plastic surgeons in New Orleans all of which are board certified and capable. If you are considering eyelid surgery or any other procedure I recommend to seek the help of not only a capable surgeon but also a caring physician that strives to provide the best patient experience for his clients. Dr Hariri was referred to us by our regular eye doctor. My mother was having issues with her tear duct and it was getting worse. He was amazing. My mother is in the early stages of Dementia and Dr Hariri was very patient answering the same question several times. He carefully explained the surgery she would need and all the pros and cons of it. We decided to move forward with the surgery and again he was amazing. He even called over the weekend to see how she was doing. I saw another review had issues with the staff but we never did. They were kind and very patient with me and my mother. If you look at the "Eyelid and Facial Consultants" Google page you will see a lot of 5 star reviews. This guy deserves 5 stars.

HELL NO!!! I Jumped through all those "Before Surgery " Hoops like you have to do prior to surgery including stopping my Blood thinners a week before and Fasting from 8:00 PM the eve of Surgery. 15 hours without even a Drink of Water. Surgery was scheduled for 7:30 AM . This #$%&%$#$%& DIDN'T SHOW UP AT THE CLINIC UNTIL 8:45 AM. I passed him going out the door after getting my Co- pay Transaction cancelled. You can do the Math, He has the Typical " I'M a Doctor " syndrome. As a Retired Aviation Person, I've lived in the Middle East, Africa, Far East. I've been there done that. Wouldn't ever Trust this Man to do Surgery. END OF STORY ??.

Dr. Hariri was referred to us by my mothers eye doctor. She has a lesion on her eye lid. I can't say enough about how nice this doctor was. My mother is 83, in the early stages of Dementia and has a fear of needles. He took the time to listen to her and explain exactly what the issue was. Dr. Hariri was very gentle with her and made her laugh quite a bit. The assistant Rachelle was also very efficient and kind. She kept my mother distracted as the doctor took a biopsy. All in all, this appointment was better than I had expected. I would definitely recommend this doctor.

He rescheduled my eyelid surgery to a later time, I was NOT notified of this change. Then after the Reschedule, he shows up 20 minutes before the new Schedule, I HAVE BEEN FASTING 13 HOURS BY THIS TIME, NOT EVEN A SIP OF WATER. IM STILL IN THE WAITING ROOM. Im 81 Y.O. Diabetic, Cardiac Paitent. Off my Meds for a week prior to surgery Date. VERY DANGEROUS AND INCONSIDERATE BY THESE PEOPLE. HE LOOKS LIKE HE SLEPT IN HIS SCRUBS. UNSHAVEN, DISHELVED, DIDN'T EVEN LOOK PROFESSIONAL OR ACT LIKE ONE. I DEMANDED AND GOT MY COPAY BACK FROM THIS SURGERY CLINIC AND LEFT. THIS GUY IS DANGEROUS. YOU DONT TREAT A PATIENT THIS WAY, ESPECIALLY A SENIOR CITIZEN. MY RECOMMENDATION IS NOT TO USE A SURGERY CLINIC. USE A HOSPITAL, WITH AN AFFILIATED DOCTOR. I am pursuing a complaint with a Patient rights Organization against this Doctor and the Surgery Clinic. Hoping to prevent this from happening to ANOTHER Senior Citizen.

Dr. Al Hariri has been very meticulous and caring. He is a very kind and professional surgeon with great attention to detail and aesthetics. Would definitely recommend without hesitation!

He is a very carrying Doctor, he looks after your needs and he has a wonderful staff that helps him. Love the work he performed on me my family and husband loved it. Recommend him highly.
