List of Aisha Parker's Reviews
A little over two-and-a-half years ago I went to my small local Ochsner Hospital & Dr. Parker happened to be on staff that night. I was there for something I have dealt with for years, knew the standard treatment, & was more than annoyed when this doctor wanted to run a few (expensive) tests just because the presentation this time was ever so slightly different. Well, once I was given the standard treatment & things calmed down I consisted to one of the tests she wanted to run. Like I thought it would be, it was clear and they sent me home without running the second test (a little invasive & painful one) since the first was clear. Well, we thought that’s where the adventure of that night would end. A radiologist happened to re-read the tests, and after being home 48 hours we were called, and asked to go to the Main Campus ER because he noticed something at the very edge of the scan he thought might be something they needed to look at more closely. Well, even longer story short, Dr. Parker very likely saved my life because she followed her intuition, dealt with a not so co-operative patient, and ran one of the tests she wanted to do (the least invasive one). Thanks in part to her & the second radiologist, it was eventually discovered I had an extremely under-diagnosed (so considered rare) condition that isn’t usually caught until it is too late. I don’t believe she knows about everything that happened after I left the ER that night, but I figured it was about time to let her know & say, “Thank You!” Even if it is just in the form of a good review.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
