They get a five star because it like it the old daysyou still buy your donut and get your coffee and sit there and enjoy without people smoking, and they should start back putting that flashing light when they have hot bread That why I gave them A Plus

Dr Binder is a very caring and compassionate doctor. I would not be able to walk today if not for him. He found a hip fracture that was missed by another provider and did the surgery that has gotten me back to normal. Thanks Dr Binder and praise God!

So sad that this 90 year old bakery closed. A real neighborhood bakery with excellent, unpretentious pastries and breads. Locals always hanging out drinking coffee and the lady behind the counter was real old school New Orleans, a delight to talk to and always recognized us because we would stop in 4 or 5 times a year each time when we visited New Orleans. During a visit last year we walked up only to find the doors padlocked. You can't replace the charm of an old establishment like Alois Binder Bakery with something new. Sad.

Always loved them pre/post Katrina. Family owned and family feel. French bread is great, especially when hot, and their pistolettes are amazing. I love there pastries too.
