So sad that this 90 year old bakery closed. A real neighborhood bakery with excellent, unpretentious pastries and breads. Locals always hanging out drinking coffee and the lady behind the counter was real old school New Orleans, a delight to talk to and always recognized us because we would stop in 4 or 5 times a year each time when we visited New Orleans. During a visit last year we walked up only to find the doors padlocked. You can't replace the charm of an old establishment like Alois Binder Bakery with something new. Sad.

Dr. Bender took care of my broken ankle that I had broke in three places I was walking within 2 days after surgery no pain did knee pain medicine that's experience of any doctor I've been to

I bought a small king cake made by them to bring home to NJ and there was no baby in it. The packaging indicated there would be. This was disappointing because without the novelty of the baby its just an overly sweet coffee cake.

Always loved them pre/post Katrina. Family owned and family feel. French bread is great, especially when hot, and their pistolettes are amazing. I love there pastries too.

I love going to going yo him, but I hate having to go and see his nurse Meghan she's extremely rude and difficult all the time!! That's one of the reasons why I wouldn't . The front office is very difficult also. When you go there but television is so loud you can't even hear yourself think!! Too bad cuz she's a great doctor and a great listener. Anybody will be falling in love with his manners and the way that she deals with his patients I wish you didn't have that women there and I would be very happy and me and a lot of other patients that were talking in the front room feel the same way. He is only reason why I gave it 4 stars

Dr Binder is a very caring and compassionate doctor. I would not be able to walk today if not for him. He found a hip fracture that was missed by another provider and did the surgery that has gotten me back to normal. Thanks Dr Binder and praise God!
