I’ve been treated here for more that two years for multiple issues at different times. Not only am I improving constantly, I know my total health is being considered along with exercises to help me improve. This is the real deal, Peter has years of experience and his knowledge of the human body and function is second to none. Your whole body heath is in the equation and you’ll be amazed how much better you can live your life. Thanks Peter and Gretchen and all the staff who make my life easier and more enjoyable! Please don’t ever retire!
Best acupuncturist I've been to. Actually wants to solve the problem. Before the session he asked me about my diet and lifestyle, which made me happy because so many doctors skip over that.
Excellent Dr . here ! I will return
Sad to report on this. However, I’ve been a patient for many years I’ve spent over 15k with Dr. Peter and I’m still having severe headaches (he tells me it’s my neck) he’s the one who works on my neck. Not to mention, I pay in advance for services 400$ Per 5 sessions —-just to get kicked out before my time is up by his wife Gretchen. My treatments (30 minutes) are interrupted ahead of time and I’m told to get up, get my things, and sign the form saying I had my full treatment. Gretchen barges in the room while I have needles in me it’s absurd. If I express my concern regarding my headache I’m told to get up and go. If I call to make appointments no one answers and the employees are not happy (I’m told several times) working in this toxic environment they are mistreated as well. Plus we all know Gretchen is not all there she IS a loose cannon. It’s a sad situation. They cannot keep employees due to the toxic environment. LASTLY My session credits on file—you guys can keep it. I’m finding a professional. Don’t go here.....this place is a circus.
As a soccer player who has suffered with chronic back pain and a stiff neck for over 2 years, I finally addressed it after my wife gifted me a session of acupuncture from this charming spot in Mid-City. I’ve had 2 sessions so far and feel terrific. The nurse and doctor are very warm and polite and the doc knew exactly where my pain and tightness was located. I literally feel like a new man and can swear by this treatment for its effectiveness! Thank you.
Been here a few times at their old location on Magazine and find acupuncture services were great and produced results. Lower back pain improved significantly after a couple of visits. Highly recommend and great staff.
Was here on vacation and had a back flair up - never tried acupuncture before but definitely found it to be helpful to reduce the amount of pain! Very friendly and professional.
I did not receive any services here but had a very unpleasant experience. I had ordered some balloons from Etsy for my son's birthday but they got accidentally delivered to this "business". Let me just say I was not upset, it was an honest mistake and things happen. When I called and asked if they had received the package they said no, even though when I tracked the package it said that it was delivered. At this point I still wasn't upset, I mean i should've checked the address right? I decided to go in, thinking maybe another staff member had seen it or maybe returned it to the post office. What do I see when I walk in? Two of MY BALLOONS blown up!!!! I was beyond myself. Dr. Peter Yizhi Zhang came to talk to me in the very little English that he spoke and all he kept saying was that he was a Doctor and he didn't have anything to do with mail and kept laughing. I then pointed out the balloons that were blown up and told him they were mine and he just stared at me blankly. He just kept telling me he didn't know and hes just the Dr. He said my balloons weren't there and I should go. I left and waited outside for the receptionist to come back from her lunch break. I called and she answered, and I explained to her what happened so she went to look and said, "Oh yea I see the astronaut balloon and the other balloons." I asked her if she could just please bring them outside, she put me on hold and never came back on the line. I went back in and introduced myself to her and she immediately looked embarrassed. She apologized and said, " I don't know where he put them." So basically she went and told him I was outside waiting for her to bring me MY balloons and he TOOK THEM FROM HER and didn't let her give me my balloons!!! So not only did he open MY mail( which is illegal), he STOLE my property!! What kind of an adult literally steals balloons from a child??!!!! If this "Doctor" is capable of stealing such nonsense, God knows what other shady actions he is doing. Oh and by the way, he also owns the Air Bnb that is on top of this "business". 3318 Canal street, NOLA 70119
If I could give this place 10 stars...I would. I arrived at the clinic in driving rain, and was met by a very sweet assistant that held an unberrellab and helped me get out of my car and up the steps. I have sever nerve damage and the VA tried dillengently to take all the pain away with drugs and operations with good results but never managed more than 60 percent of it; the Dr. here managed to bring it to 85. Good enough for me; I haven't felt this good in many years. Thank you guys so very, very much.
Dr. Zhang and Gretchen are so welcoming and offer excellent one-on-one attention to each patient. I appreciate their holistic approach to healing the human body; please note that this may mean you are treated for something you didn't come in for, as your pain may be a symptom of a different issue you may not even be aware of.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
