I have nothing but good things to say about this program they helped me get over my addictions in a comfortable environment they supplied me with the tools to be a productive citizen and helped me make a plan after I leave I would recommend this place to anyone who is ready to fix their life

Avenues gave me a experience of a life time the staff were nice and attentive. The nurses are very caring. They taught me tools I'm going to use for the rest of my life.

If you really want to change your life and want to get clean and sober, this is the place! I went in very confused and very sick (still drunk). They kept a close eye on me, especially Miss Opal, to make sure I was going to be okay as I blew a .5 when I came in. Dr. J made sure I was medically safe and comfortable for my detox period and was very attentive to any negative side effects I had from medication.The staff is super friendly and helpful. They teach you how to communicate about your feelings and also how addiction works in the brain. They also do weekend outings to have some fun and blow off some steam. After completing the program I did have a relapse, but BECAUSE of this program and the tools they taught me I was able to dig my heels in the sand and start over. I now have almost 6 months sober, which I never thought was possible in my life! Thank you guys for literally saving my life

Townsend stands as an amazing experience for me. I wasn't sure what to expect upon intake, but I quickly realized the friendly and welcoming nature of each staff member. Kenny demonstrated empathy with kindness, while Mickey was the first to greet me and speak to me like a human being – not just a patient. Ms. Donna could not be a better Program Director showing utmost professionalism and fairness at every step. Dr. J is caring and truly listens to her patients' needs! I recommend this facility to anyone looking to embark on the best path their lives can take after addiction. I could not show more gratitude to each tech, nurse, counselor, or medical team member all whom made my stay comfortable and, so far, a complete success in my sobriety journey! Thank you!

Highly recommend. My daughter was a client here. Staff is incredibly kind and very attentive to clients' particular needs, for example, dietary issues.. Was also very helpful and knowledgeable about what is and is not covered by insurance.

I would love to go here. I will be praying for this, I can tell from my recovery center research this is not your average detox center, it's in a league of it's own. One I would love to see. Here's to hoping my friend in Nola agrees. I need to get off the 90mg of methadone I'm on & I've been unsuccessful at my current outpatient clinic. They seem to encourage raising your dose more than assist in lowering it safely as I feel being on it since 2013 is a bit longer than I expected.

Avenues set me on a new path. They turned my dreams into a tangible reality. The three months I spent there, I see as like a different kind of boot camp, but similar to how Parris Island was. That's just to say that it's not going to be a fun vacation all the time, but you'll have memories you'll keep forever. Look at it as the most fun you never want to have again.Being from Georgia, yeah the food is good. I lived in the duplex with the pool across the street. No, you can't swim in it when you want, but you'll get to on occasion. These people will take care of you.They really help you understand the full picture of addiction , or the 'family problem'. You'll understand how using affected others, and how it affected you. It's a refreshing point of view when you start to see things differently. All the peers I kept in touch with have been sober for a year now.Mostly everyone that works there has had a significant past with substance abuse, so you won't be around folks with no empathy. You'll see picture perfect examples of how recovery is possible.I traveled almost 500 miles during the initial peak of the pandemic to get here in May 2020, and it follows enlisting as being the best choice I've ever made.These people are wizards.

I was very pleased with everyone (staff and community). I would suggest anyone who is serious about recovery and wanting to get sober to come here. I've been to several detoxes and one treatment center before but this one really topped my past experiences. They provided me with all the necessary tools to succeed!!! Thanks EVERYONE !!!!!
