I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2022. I soon learned I had a gene mutation and a high risk of another cancer. My oncologist strongly recommended B/L mastectomies. This is terrifying to a woman with fear of disfigurement verses the risk of cancer. I researched my options and met with several plastic sur!geons. I made the decision to travel from NC to NOLA for the expertise of the physicians there. I've had my initial DIEP Flap surgery and am scheduled for revision in December. I am so very impressed with the results so far. My PCP saw me this week and said the results are 'amazing'. Dr. Trahan is a very talented surgeon with highly specialized skills. And his bedside manner is fantastic. Additionally, the staff is amazing! Definitely worth the travel. The office is also very good dealing with insurance and prior authorizations.

Dr. Trahan is very focused at what he does. He is completing his reconstruction work on my cancer and doing it with compassion. He talks to me about what he can and can’t do. He studies His plan very closely, and does an excellent job.

Love Dr. Trahan! He’s an amazing surgeon, and his staff made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. They are always readily available and they get back with you promptly. The medical facility is impeccable. Everyone from the front desk, medical staff to the doctor are very professional. Dr. T has an outstanding bedside manner. He’s easy to talk to, and very down to earth. I would especially like to thank him, for his calming and caring nature. The entire medical staff, and nurses they are all very nice and helpful. They are the best of the best! So thankful to God and Dr Trahan and his staff for their life changing work.

Dr. Trahan changed my life, and I'll forever be grateful 🙏. He was absolutely the most caring and compassionate doctor I have been to throughout my journey. The Center for Restorative Breast Reconstruction is a top knotch facility. Wouldn't go anywhere else if I had a chance to go back.

I am very blessed to have found Dr. Trahan. After my double mastectomy Dr. Trahan did my reconstruction. I've been very pleased with him and he is truly an artist. I can honestly say I'm happier with my body now than I was before my surgery. I'm so grateful to the people at The Center for Restorative Breast Surgery and to Dr. Trahan.

Dr. Trahan is a phenomenal doctor and obviously puts his patients first. Going through breast cancer my scars are seen a lot by many different doctors. Every time a new doctor sees them they are astonished at how amazing they look. The scars are barely visible. I am so pleased with Dr. Trahan.

I am so pleased with my experience with Dr Trahan. He is kind, compassionate, and most importantly, a skilled micro surgeon. He spent a great deal of time with me explaining and developing a reconstructive plan for me. He has been very responsive to my concerns and requests. He did my surgery, when I was supposed to have another doctor at the hospital. Both breasts failed, and my stomach is distended.
