Terrible doctor . I refuse to take the medicine he prescribed and I will find a different provider. I just moved here from Arizona so I needed a primary care physician. I have debilitating anxiety. I have dealt with it my whole life . I take the smallest milligram of Xanax when I start to panic . It’s been hell living without it since my move. His exact words to me were…..you can’t just go to New Orleans and ask for Xanax, then he accused me of not being willing to let him access my files from my previous doctor in Arizona which I stated on three separate occasions for him to do so . He treated me like an addict, told me my story was scattered. Arizona isn’t like New Orleans , doctors don’t work in network with hospitals everything is separate and im sorry I don’t remember the exact year I had gallstones, it was so long ago. Bottom line , he has no compassion and basically refused to help. Stay away from this doctor if you can.
Dr Borne is tremendously knowledgeable and has an awesome bedside manner. I feel extremely comfortable and confident in him and his recommendations. I recommend him without reservation.
Doctor Borne came across as impatient. I scheduled my appointment a month in advance, waited very patiently only to find an Internal Medicine practitioner who seemed like he was in a hurry. I entered the appointment with 4-5 bullets to discuss and sensed how irked he was by the time I got to the second health issue.
I am extremely disgusted with my visit with Dr. David Borne. I walked out of his office wanting to kill myself. Fortunately, a friend of mine who was a social worker was able to talk to me. This guys is by the worst person I have ever encountered in the field of medicine. I feel even though I went to talk to a physician about the way I was feeling mentally and he was an internist but its the point that he is suppose to be a trusted healthcare provider. He was nothing short of an idiot!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
