Very caring, listen, concern enough to ask you questions about how you are feeling and then ask if you have questions for him. Last, but not the least, he is hands on. He takes time to examine you. Not many doctors touch you today. Douglas K. Mendoza MD, is a great cardiovascular doctor with a great staff.

My elderly mother with dementia just switched to Dr Mendoza when her cardiologist (Dr Swirsky) retired. We both are very pleased. Mom really liked his personality. She felt heard and respected. I find Dr Mendoza thorough, receptive and attentive without overdoing it. Perfect bedside manner for us.

Friendly Doctor but not informative or thorough and somewhat impersonable. If you actively participate in your care, he’s not the doctor for you. He’s seems bothered by questions so he certainly doesn’t encourage you to ask any. Go elsewhere! He’s not worth it.
