He totally saved my mother

Dr. Smart treated me for viral myocarditis -- something I had never heard of before. He was great at explaining to me what was going on. He's very willing to answer questions and provided great care when I was a patient of his. I would highly recommend him!

I found him to be kind and caring, as well as extremely competent. He was the first doctor who realized that my body simply wasn't responding well to the dosages others had routinely prescribed for my CHF, came up with a plan for me and very slowly increased dosages until they had reached their max effectiveness for me. He is open and honest about prognoses, current research and possible treatments. When he was with me, he was very 'available' -- listened, answered questions and remembered details from previous conversations.
