I was lucky to be introduced to Justin on a recent trip to New Orleans. I woke up one day with a terrible flu, and Justin was able to fit me in right away for a herbal consultation over the phone. After one bag and three doses of a herbal formula, my fever had broken, and I felt reborn. A few days later, I reached out again for a followup formula to tend to some lingering symptoms, and again, after the first dose, I turned another corner toward recovery. As a doctor of Chinese medicine myself, I can say with confidence that Justin's herbal expertise is beyond that of the average practitioner. He is truly skilled at being able to properly diagnose and treat internal illnesses. Justin, you saved my Mardi Gras!

Justin is so thorough and knowledgable which you'll see right away when you visit him for your new patient consultation. He makes sure to explain the why behind things which I very much appreciate! Also he opens your mind to alternative treatments that can be helpful especially when you've tried other things that haven't worked and you've been frustrated... This practice is amazing! I came in with terrible back pain, but Justin's work has done wonders not only for my back pain, but also for the rest of my body. Before trying acupuncture, I tried everything else - physical therapy, chiropractic, massage - but nothing has helped heal the soreness in my body like this practice! Justin is not only extremely knowledgeable about everything acupuncture and herbal medicine, but also truly wants you to feel your best. Justin continues to provide a unique experience for acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. He is the master at finding knots and opening pathways to provide healing. You may be sore for a day or so after treatment but then your issues just disappear. There is no one else in the city like him. He has a passion for figuring out how to help you.

I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and had a lot of discomfort associated with being locked up prior to diagnosis. Justin has unlocked parts of my body that seemed dormant. My circulation has improved and my body feels more regular. Sleep improved and I’m much more fluid in movement. Not only is Justin extremely knowledgeable, but also listens to every detail. I was diagnosed with a partially torn ligament in my ankle and it was extremely painful. I was told by a doctor to wear a boot to walk in for 6 weeks, and during that time I sought out Justin’s help for physical therapy and pain relief. Justin’s bed side manner, knowledge, and skill was beyond any expectations I had. On top of acupuncture treatment, which targeted nerves in my leg to stimulate blood flow, and the movement of chi, I was given topical medications for reduced swelling, and herbal bath bundles to soak in. In 6 weeks I was walking again, without a boot, and to this day I credit Justin for the fact that I can walk like nothing ever happened. I was terrified that I would forever have a weak ankle, but because of his expert care, my ankle is even stronger than before. He is a true healer and has a gift!
