Dr Lagarde was very good and explained everything that was going on. I felt very comfortable with her and confident she was telling me everything.

I needed a second opinion. And I saw Dr. Marie Celeste Lagarde. She was thorough, sympathetic to my situation. I appreciated that. It’s very difficult having to have surgery on your breast as a woman. Her office workers were awesome and very kind. My privacy was respected. I will continue to go to her.

Dr. Lagarde recently performed a biopsy on me and she was so wonderful and professional. She made me feel comfortable and at ease during such a stressful time, and it really made all the difference. She explained the procedure very well beforehand and there were no surprises. She was very thorough- she took many samples to ensure an accurate result. I know I am in good hands with her and wouldn’t trust anyone else!

I have recently been dionosed with breast cancer and I would not want to be treated by anyone else. Dr. Lagarde and Heather are the best!

Dr. Lagarde performed my bilateral mastectomies prior to reconstruction many years ago. I still travel from out of state to follow-up with her and Heather once a year. Dr. Lagarde is a skilled, compassionate surgeon. Her entire office staff is helpful and responsive.

During the time of extreme emotion distress from learning I had breast cancer, Dr. Lagarde and her team were a bright spot in my initial care. They answered my questions, returned my phone calls in a timely manner, and were empathetic to my problems. But what really impressed me was what a talented surgeon Dr. LaGarde proved to be. An artist in fact. After my lumpectomy "the girls" looked great! Even, symmetrical, you could hardly tell anything had happened to one. She's a fine surgeon.

Dr. Lagarde is by far the most skilled surgeon I've ever known. She is patient, caring and very competent, having done my mastectomies. She enabled me to have reconstruction immediately following her surgery. If you want a surgeon who really cares about her patients, you will be excited about Dr. Legarde.

Dr LaGarde is great letting me know everything that is going on with my plan of care. Listening to me.I am just at the beginning. She will be doing bilateral mastectomy. The office staff ok. Scheduler has not kept me in the loop or returned my phone call. Yes. I know I am not the only patient so I am trying to me patient. All in all everything is good and would recommend Dr.Lagarde

BEWARE!!!! Dr. Celeste Lagarde will give you chemotherapy when you DO NOT need it. She will try and convince you that you have to have it because you have breast cancer however you do not need chemo with certain types of breast cancer. . Praise God I got a second opinion.Dr. Lagarde was my breast surgeon for 10 years a few years later I was diagnosed with hormonal estrogen progesterone breast cancer. She advised me that I needed chemotherapy and possible radiation.I received a second opinion, and I stress to everyone please please obtain a second opinion if you are seeing this doctor or any doctor as a matter of fact. Unlike what Dr. Lagarde was advising me to do, my estrogen progesterone cancer DOES NOT respond to chemo therapy.I had a double mastectomy and by the grace of God now 6 six years later and very healthy.What doctor Lagarde was stressing to me to receive chemotherapy 6 to 8 rounds would have put me through excruciating discomfort pain and Lord knows what else.If Dr. Lagarde believes so much in chemotherapy she should have six rounds of it instead of giving it to patients that do not need it.BEWARE!!!! She evidently forgot what her practice was during the years and now is in it for money only and does not care about her sick patients!!She should have her medical license suspended!!
