I just love how caring, professional and, understanding the staff is at Ochsner Medical Center. From the time you walk in the door, till you leave, you feel these sense of knowing you’re in great hands. Thanks to Dr. Bryant Moore for not only explaining things. But, showing and, going step by step. I definitely, can’t leave his nurse out. She was amazing. Thanks again Ochsner Medical Center.

I actually do recommend Oschners overall….My father was sent to Ochsner for further testing in regards to stomach cancer. The nurses, anesthesiologist, doctors, and all administrative personnel were great. His procedure went well with promising results. My only complaint is that after arriving in phase 2 recovery, he had to wait for 2 and a half hours for a chest x-ray to be released and then another 30 minutes for the tech to load the images. From the time the x-ray was requested until discharge, it was over 3 hours and he could not drink anything until this was done, after having a breathing tube. Apparently there are only 6 portable x-ray machines in the entire hospital. I was very disappointed based on the reputation of Oschners being state of the art. I overheard another nurse say they had a 7 month old that waited 3 hours for an x-Ray the day before. This shortage of equipment, personnel, whatever it is…. Needs to be addressed.

I had to see why I was losing weight. So it turns out my thyroid is over active. To be honest I was scared about the situation I was facing. But the professional and sweet lady that drew my blood Sheila was very helpful with calming me down and reassuring me that I will be fine.I couldn’t thank her enough. I even gave her a big hug. So keep up the great work Sheila!

I went with a friend to help assist her when she was struggling with a lung problem and struggling to breath. They were accommodating regarding masks and her medical issues and my exception. The staff were all nice and helpful.

I bring my sister to the other large East Bank hospital regularly. The staff and services there cannot compare to my experiences at Ochsner. Everyone working at Ochsner from maintenance, restaurant, nurses,PA's and doctors are so kind, helpful and courteous! I always compare them to the staff at a Disney resort! Last week I had three appointments in one day and everyone I encountered acted like they really loved their job!

The worst managed clinics every. My wife spent 35 yrs working for this company. she was the out deciated and loyal person to Ochsner. She would come to work when not feeling feel, total in pain from neck, shoulder, spine issues. when others would call in sick for a head ack. She recently retired, and on her last day at 5 pm, she left the office just as if she was leaving for the weekend. Not a single person from the management team or HR was there to bid her farewell and /or wish her luck. That was such a big slap in the face for Ochsner. This company needs to better their management team in the covington area.

The expert doctors and nurses who take their time with you and explain what’s going on.

Every time I go to Ochsner it is like going home to family. They welcome you, direct you if needed, take you in quickly. They treat you with respect, kindness, and give you the utmost care. From the staff members to the doctors, the care and concern and, professionalism I receive is top notch. I never miss a chance to recommend Ochsner.
