Everyone we have dealt with while my dad has been there has been friendly, kind and helpful. The only complaint is the food quality. Main campus has decent food, but south campus food is nearly inedible. Even many of the staff we've spoken with agree.

It’s conveniently located right off the interstate but the thugs hanging around outside bugging everyone for money are a nuisance. Also there are not enough parking spots available

First surgery in my life was an amazing experience thanks the staff nurses and dr Sicard at Opelousas

I was seen at OGHS South campus for Occupational Therapy to treat my severe arthritic pain at the base of my thumbs and the severe hand and wrist weakness which had resulted. I was followed by Scott Hidalgo, LOTR assisted by other OT staff on occasion. Scott performed a complete evaluation of my hands and wrists and we set up a schedule for twice weekly + a home program. The atmosphere was friendly, courteous and I was worked quite hard. In a few weeks, I had gained almost 20# of strength in my hands and was no longer continually dropping things at home. I have been able to even assist my husband with some of the yardwork. I still have some pain, but because of the severity of the arthritis, I expect that. But the pain is fairly well controlled and though it may flair up and be severe on occasion, it is no longer constant and it does not wake me at night anymore. I was well pleased with my therapist, the staff, my program, and my results. If needed, I would definitely utilize them again.

Everyone was very friendly and compassionate! Every staff member that came in my room introduced themselves to me and explained what they were there to do. Made me feel very relaxed for my procedure. Special thanks to the surgery department and Dr. Sicard!

I go very often to OGH Imaging. They are always quick & precise. I rarely have much wait time! The staff is always nice & courteous.
