Kathryn Coreil Elkins Md's Online Review Report Card

Doctor Elkins and Doctor Quinn have been my pediatricians dating back atleast 29 years. I knew no matter where I was located when I have a child - Dr. Elkins & Quinn would always have my business as long as God allows my womb to bare. Absolutely love the competence, compassion, thoroughness, professionalism, and excitement on either MDs face when visiting. Complete nostalgia; I travel hours if need be to make sure my child is seen by trusted medical professionals. However, some of the nursing staff really taints the overall experience of this clinic which I utterly despise. Lack of professionalism, rudeness, demeanor, and ethical/legal issues really make me cringe at the manner and service some of the staff exhibits. It really makes me consider switching pediatrics. I’m a firm believer in spending my money, time, effort on where I’m celebrated and not tolerated- nor do I believe I need to run the gauntlet with the nurses by mistreatment just to finally get better quality with the Doctor alone. Good quality is hard to come across now-a-days, but that does not mean I (or anyone for that manner) will/should accept mediocre treatment from the nursing staff. How you treat and make the people who provide your job security is equally important as the services received. Maybe if the Doctors have a serious discussion with staff, monitor nurse- patient interactions (for quality service), and trainings these behaviors can be remedied. I understand that the medical profession is especially busy with these unprecedented times, but this problem did not occur just in 2019 - until. I genuinely care so I’m leaving a genuine review. Otherwise, I still love the doctors but I believe the nursing staff can make or break the experience and successfulness of this establishment !

The medical professionals at Pediatric and Associates are experienced, thorough and accommodating to the individual patient and its families. The supportive staff is busy and seem to be detail oriented, which is reassuring. The bedside manner of Dr. Elkins and Dr. Quinn is everything you one would expect, but I find them to be even more personable and down to earth; very friendly indeed. Supportive staff could use a few lessons in manners, and could be kinder to my child, but they are tolerable. Referrals are exacted swiftly, and the department wastes no time in processing, and is quick to get back with the patient immediately. They are patient and most professional!! I’ve had 4 children, and have been a mother for almost 30 years now. My youngest is 6, and has special needs for several issues. Dr. Elkins (& Quinn) has seen us through from the time he was born, walked with our family down a bumpy path, and have been most helpful in obtaining all of his needs, including getting us to the right specialists and therapists. What a wonderful place, with wonderful people, to be so impactful in our community.❤️👩🏻‍⚕️👨🏻‍⚕️

I have taken my children to Pediatric Associates for years. These physicians have always gone above and beyond to treat my children, squeezing us in when necessary, getting us referrals, and generally caring for our children. I cannot express how wonderful and professional the entire staff is.
