Great Doctor very caring and understanding

Even by the impersonal standards of the American medical system, Dr. Tanner's lack of basic social decorum and and inability (or unwillingness) to listen is beyond stupifying. Having been referred to him for an abnormal lump, I was examined for roughly 15 seconds before he buresquely said "I think it's cancer." A nurse was brought in to schedule a CT scan as I sat processing what happened. He disappeared into his office to do other world. The impression I got was of Larry The Cable Guy, minus compassion. I hope no one has to receive a cancer diagnosis like I did.
