After a terrible experience with another dentist who tried to scam me into getting a procedure I did not want or need, I went to Dr. Baines for a second opinion. Dr. Baines was extremely thorough and took the time to discuss all my concerns and confirm my teeth were just fine. He is so kind, patient, and friendly, and everyone in the office is just as lovely. They really take care of me and treat me so well, and I couldn't be happier to have found them!

Oh my goodness, where do I start? First of all I am 65 yrs old, and have a mouth full of dentistry I've had done from Austin, TX (where I live), to Mexico, Yukon Canada, and Alaska. One my favorite saying's is "It's hard going back to Jello, once you've had chocolate mousse."Dr John Baines is the chocolate mousse of dentistry.His chair side manor is one that makes you very relaxed. His expertise and experience are unsurpassed. Again I have been in so many dental chairs I recognize tools and procedures.Dr Baines and his staff have made me feel so welcome, I feel at home.Dr Baines receives my lifetime best dentist and dentistry award.Thank you Dr Baines and staff. You have made my life better.

Easy to get to location if you are in South Austin, very friendly staff, and a very compassionate dentist who understands some folks don't like pain and don't want to go to the dentist.I was impressed with the checklists and details of the visit and the great follow-up from the staff to make sure my referrals were getting done.If you have to go to the dentist, it is worth it to find a great one, Dr. Baines is great.
