My wife fell on a stairway over a month ago. Our primary care physician saw her a few days later because her right shoulder wasn’t functioning properly. He said he thought the problem was serious and referred her to Dr. Novakovich. We were both pleased that Dr. Novakovich is also concerned enough to spend time explaining the problem, explaining the optional treatments, and answering questions. He also draws illustrations as he proceeds, so that we understand everything as much as possible. It wasn’t possible to complete the surgery, as planned, because her tissue couldn’t support sutures or clamps. He explained this all to me yesterday using pictures he took of the operation as it was being done. My wife still had the after effects of the anesthesia at that time, but he spent considerable time with us today explaining what the options are going forward. He answers our questions in terms we can understand and we’re very happy with both our GP and Dr. Novakivich for their thoughtfulness and understanding.

I saw Dr. Novakovich in Lafayette,La he is very good at what he does.He has taken care of my shoulder and my knees. I was to have Rotate cuff surgery,but I developed back issue, so he said take care of back first. Before he could do my shoulder surgery, he has moved to Ruston,La. If anyone needs a great Otho surgery, call him. I hated to here he was leaving Laf.,I had to find another Otho doctor,and I did another great doctor. Thanks Dr. Novakovich for all you did for me. Good luck

Definitely one of the greatest doctors we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He made us feel comfortable in what felt like a stressful situation. He has great bed side manners and was very thorough with us when it came to my treatment plan. Certainly one of my favorite doctors and would recommend him to anyone!

Very satisfied! He doesn't believe in surgery unless it's absolutely necessary. He's very encouraging and thorough in his exams. He answers all your questions. Will continue to see him. Appointments are on time within 15 minutes. Great bedside manner. My name is Janice Segura and I've been a patient of Dr Novakovich for a few months now.

Doctor Novakovich is an intelligent and caring doctor. As an senior I originally went to see him for a second opinion (knee replacement) and found I did not need one. It's been 2 years and since then I've been to see him several times. He is prompt and the wait times are never longer than 5 minutes. If you are unhappy with your current orthopedist definitely check out Dr. Novakovich!!!
