Denied service due to having a “temperature” of 99. Louisiana in May, got into a hot truck with blazing hot seats, walked through the heat and into the building with a neck gaiter, temperature taken upon entry and was turned away. No time given to cool down and let body temp get back to normal. Just an excuse to not see patients. Got back home and within 10 minutes of sitting in AC, temp was back down to 98.4 with picture to prove. Ridiculous. No common sense. If this dude doesn’t take time to understand anything, imagine what type of care you’re going to receive. Take your money elsewhere.

Would not recommend - wishy washy on diagnosis. Wouldn't make a decision. Went to for 2nd opinion. Would not want him to do surgery - if he is that unsure of himself!

I'd highly recommend Dr. Cavanaugh. He thoroughly explained my surgical procedure beforehand. He is an excellent surgeon! Follow up after surgery was excellent!

by far the best bedside manner I have seen by a md. His pa was awesome as well. Had to do an emergent surgery to avoid the risk of losing my sensation to my leg and never getting it back. I would highly recommend him hands down. It was a true honor being one of his patients. Absolutely no negative things to say about him. And to show you his true amount of caring, I had never even met him before and not only did he come in to see me on his day off, he also came in and did my surgery on his weekend off. Thanks alot doc. All I could give you was 5 stars and that's only because that's all there were to choose from.

discharged me from the hospital after a triple cervical discectomy on Lortab 7.5and stated I did not need anything else. Also said he sends his patients home the next day after this type of surgery. Called him the night of my disharge to tell him Lortab was not working for my pain and he said too bad, I could go to the ER if I wanted. Very incompassionate and rude telling me I should not be in much pain after having three discs removed, nerves in spine decompressed, and a cadaver bone inserted with three plates and eight screws. Would not use this doctor for surgergy if you want adequate pain control.

I have seen several neurosurgeons. None could compare. It has been 12 years since my surgery by Dr. Cavanaugh and I have the greatest confidence in him. Very professional.

Attempted to contact clinic for basic information concerning processes for appointment and fees. Put on terminal hold; called back 5 minute hold; then was told that the person I needed to speak to was out; left message and phone number. Very unprofessional and frustrating; 30 minutes no answers.
