Dr. Cooper did surgery on my elbow on 2 different occasions and both times all the staff were very professional and worked very well with my existing medical problems. The Anasteaiolgist was great both times and the nurses were great and very caring and took excellent care of me. I would certainly recommend Dr.Cooper if you need a Dr.

Willing to see me the morning after an ER visit to treat complex fracture of wrist. Other providers offered appointment 4 days out as a work-in. Dr. Cooper and staff very accommodating, helpful, scheduled surgery for next day. Surgery went well.

He quickly diagnosed my problem, explained the nature of the problem and its cause, treated me with a steroid injection. Gave me a lucid handout as well. I would definitely recommend him to others with hand problems. I am a physician myself and appreciated his professional attitude.

I was referred to Dr. Cooper by my orthopedic for a serious hand problem. Made an appointment only to be called back by a Tanya telling me they did not accept my insurance. Notified my insurance and they called Dr. Coopers office and said they would approve me seeing them. This Tanya lady was very unprofessional and rude telling my insurance lady they would not see me. My insurance representative told me she has never had a doctor turn down a patient when they agreed to cover them. Not good!!!!!

Dr. Cooper is a patient advocate. He is interested in what is best for the patient and not just there to perform surgery unless it is absolutely necessary. He is easy to talk to and I have much confidence in his opinions. He explains things very well and gives the patient the opportunity to make decisions regarding their plan of care. I feel that his skill as a surgeon is excellent and I highly recommend Dr. Ellis Cooper.

Dude nailed my problem right off the bat, but I didn't want to follow his advice. A year later and I'm back with the same problem. This time I allowed him to slice and dice like a gourmet chef. So far all good.

Would not recommend. I left velocity care Monday at 11:00 am. They told me to see hand spe cialist. I called as soon as I got home. Its Wednesday 3:20 and no one has called to schedule appointment. Glad I wasn't dying. Would not recommend.
