5 years ago this month sept 2021 i had gastric bypass. i lost 150 lbs. this has not been easy but im still here. dr barnes is a good guy and a wonderful dr. do your research this is not for everyone 5 years later im at 190 lbs i hope dr barnes sees this post i went back to work at autozone for 3 years when covid hit i retired for good plan to make an appt and go see him

Dr Barns was able to get me approved very quickly. He is a confident and capable Surgeon who treated me wit respect and. the best care I could have imagined. I messed up 1 week after surgery with bad food not on the list food and went Septic. He fixed me up and I had no other complications. I had my 18 month checkup today and he was so surprised as I look.nothing like my first appointment.

Doc is great! He’s just the right amount of tough love when you need it and excited when you’re reaching your goals. He genuinely cares about his patients and wants them to succeed. He explains the process and what you need to do. His staff are funny and kind as well.

He is an excellent Surgeon and MD with a great support program post op. He educates and informs you about the process and procedures you will have and he listens and takes an true personal interest in his patients.

Dr.Barnes is amazing. Great bedside manner. I came from Texas to use him. Be smart he is fabulous. I had the lapband in Texas and nobody wanted to remove it. Finally my health was so bad Memorial Hospital in Houston removed it. 1 yr later i heard of Dr. Barnes. Researched him, and I am going ere to tell you its been 1 1/2 years since he did my surgery and I had no problems. Well worth the drive. Love Dr.Barnes and his staff!!!!
