From what I have read about Dr. Patel and his position in treating me in a hospital, I would give him the lowest score because he treated an acute condition presented in the emergency room without contacting nor speaking to my "chronic condition" doctors under whose care I have been for over 4 years in most cases and about 1 in the other. To me he did not consider existing conditions with medications which could have led to more critical conditions.

Have always found Dr. Patel knowledgeable and forthcoming. Cancer is a horrible thing and there aren't many easy answers. Dr. Patel's focus is on the patient first. That doesn't mean he always says what you want to hear. Honest, at least to me and my family. Also, can't say enough about the staff. First cabin!

Dr. Patel has been serving me very well as my hematologist for 3 years. I would recommend him as he has alway's been professional and given me excellent care. As a matter of fact I would be pleased for any of my family members, including my wife or kids to be treated by him. I was referred to him by my primary care Physician and when he first diagnosed my Cancer he was gracious enough to put me in contact with another of his patients that had the same diagnosis many years earlier. I received the same positive input about Dr. Patel from that patient.

Went to E.R. North Hills with my sister tonight and experienced the WORST CARE EVER! Great staff, but Dr. Patel is arrogant AND incompetent. HE did not tell us anything we didn't already know and I feel dismissed her with active hernias, kidney stones, throwing up and bloating more than six inches in her stomach which she has never had before. The staff was amazing during our 4 hours there, but we saw Dr Patel for literally 2 MINUTES! If ANYTHING happens to my sister I WILL see him in a court of law. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DR. MRUGESH PATEL TO ANYONE. NOT EVEN FOR A BUG BITE.

Consistently makes you wait 30 -60 minutes. Dr. was very condescending. Repeated same info on 2nd visit as 1st as if he did not remember seeing me. Only recommendation was to come back for follow up. I chose not to.
